However, the presence of SAs makes it very difficult to efficiently improve the coordination environment. In this paper, a method of direct high-temperature pyrolysis carbonization of ZIF-8 adsorbed with Ni and Fe ions is reported for the synthesis of Ni SAs and FeN nanoparticles (NPs) supported by the N-doped carbon (NC) hollow nanododecahedras (HNDs) with nanotubes (NTs) on the surface (Ni SAs/FeN NPs@NC-HNDs-NTs).

The intestine, owing to its distinct structure and physiological environment, plays a pivotal role in the pathophysiology of sepsis. It functions as the "central organ" or "engine" in the progression of sepsis, with intestinal injury exacerbating the condition.

The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) is an efficient and effective instrument for perinatal depression. However, few studies have examined its longitudinal measurement invariance (LMI) during the whole perinatal period, which is particularly important in longitudinal studies, such as exploring developmental trajectories of perinatal depression and evaluating the effects of certain interventions.

In this study, we identified a rice thin culm mutant tc4, characterized by thinner culms and thicker cavity walls, resulting in weakened culm mechanical strength. Using map-based cloning, the candidate gene was isolated, and complementation and CRISPR/Cas9 experiments confirmed that a single nucleotide substitution in TC4 is responsible for the thin and brittle culm phenotype.

In this study, a novel β-glucanase, EG003, belonging to the glycosyl hydrolase (GH) subfamily 5_1, was predicted from the genome of the a Thermus strain. The recombinant EG003 and its catalytic domain, EG003A, were successfully expressed and characterized.

The respective lifetime alterations and major determinants of the two components with normal aging are not clear.
Methods: A total of 3053 healthy adults (1922 women) aged 18-79 years were enrolled.
Background: Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a chronic liver disease characterized by immune-mediated liver inflammation. Despite its global prevalence, the pathogenesis of AIH remains poorly understood, and there is a lack of specific biomarkers and targeted treatments. This study aimed to investigate the role of hsa_circ_0109623, hsa-miR-146b-3p, and Sortilin 1 (SORT1) in AIH and their potential as therapeutic targets.

It holds significant potential for application in aerospace engine nozzles. Developing the Ta/Re potential function is crucial for understanding the diffusion behavior at the Ta/Re interface and elucidating the high-temperature strengthening and toughening mechanism of Ta/Re layered composites.

We design three ionizable oligomers (IOs) that, with polylactide-polyethylene glycol (PLA-PEG), form a potential siRNA delivery system, named Ionizable Polymeric Micelles (IPMs). The siRNA encapsulated IPMs escape from lysosomes upon cellular uptake, and silence the target gene.

A novel and transition-metal-free hydrophosphinylation of allenes with secondary phosphine oxides was developed. In the presence of the cheap and commercially available cesium carbonate, various hydrophosphinylation products were synthesized with exclusive regio- and stereoselectivity under mild conditions. This methodology provides simple and efficient access to ()-alkenylphosphine oxides in moderate to excellent yields with a relatively broad substrate scope.

However, some patients may develop resistance to CAR-T treatment, underscoring the importance of optimizing CAR-T design to enhance responsiveness. Here, we investigated the impact of different subpopulations in anti-CD19 CAR-T cells on the tumoricidal effect.

However, CORO1A is typically considered "undruggable" due to its smooth surface and complex protein-protein interactions (PPIs). Molecular glues have emerged as one of the most effective strategies to rapidly degrade such "undruggable" targets.

Characterized by their low point of zero charge and numerous active adsorption sites, manganese oxides effectively accumulate heavy metals such as lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) from contaminated environments. Different manganese oxides, mediated by Mn(ii), vary in their capacity to enrich heavy metals.
