Thus, the scalpel can be directly provided with the power to operate on cancerous cells only from a fixed distance, and accidental cutting of blood vessels can be avoided. Selection of DNA aptamers recognizing small cell lung cancer using living cell-SELEX.

Myxofibrosarcoma or myxoid malignant fibrous histiocytoma is one of the most common fibroblastic sarcomas in older patients. It is characterized by a tendency for predominantly subcutaneous, multinodular, diffusely infiltrative growth, which may extend to the overlying dermis and present as a cutaneous lesion. Histologically, it comprises a spectrum ranging from hypocellular low-grade myxoid to high-grade pleomorphic sarcoma.

Objectives: To study the composition of the intercellular lipids and maturation properties of the cornified envelope (CE) of the SC, as these are the most important components for the SC barrier function in fresh scars.

Methods: SC lipids were extracted from the donor site for split-thickness skin grafting soon after re-epithelialization using a cup method, and were analysed with high-performance thin-layer chromatography.

Methods: Serum concentrations of total and free PSA, as well as the free/total PSA ratio were measured in 75 male patients with histologically confirmed liver cirrhosis. As a control group, 75 age-matched healthy blood donors were studied.
