Background: Although viral infections, including SARS-CoV-2, can cause persistent symptoms and functional limitations, the impact of post-viral syndromes on workplaces is uncertain.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study of workplaces in Rhode Island in the D&B Hoovers database (September-October 2022). Eligible workplaces had ≥1 contact with a valid email address and ≥2 paid employees.

Governments, public health authorities, and social media platforms have employed various measures to counter misinformation that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic. The effectiveness of those misinformation interventions is poorly understood. We analyzed fifty papers published between January 1, 2020, and February 24, 2023, to understand which interventions, if any, were helpful in mitigating COVID-19 misinformation.

The clinical condition and pathophysiological status of these patients in the Intensive Care Unit might differ from or be more complicated than most predictive models account for. In addition, as the pathophysiological status changes over time, the likelihood of survival day by day will vary.

Background And Purpose: This study describes a Salmonella outbreak in a 9-member family in Southern Taiwan, and emphasizes the risk of Salmonella infection in extreme age.
Methods: Salmonella infection was identified by blood culture, stool swab, and Widal test. A questionnaire was designed for the family to ascertain the underlying disease, symptoms, and history of untreated water and food exposure.
Objectives: Maintaining proper access control to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is essential to protecting patients' privacy. We aim to develop mechanisms and tools that can support fine-grained and adaptable access control for EMR.
Method: This paper presents an aspect-oriented design and implementation scheme to providing adaptable access control for Web-based EMR systems.

Introduction: The Institute of Medicine has identified both Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and Electronic Prescription (EP) as key in reducing medication errors and improving safety. Many computerized clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) improve practitioner performance. However, the development of CDSSs involves a long cycle time that makes it difficult to apply in a wider scope.

Dexamethasone treatment (0.01 mg/kg) significantly improved the survival rate and increased the bile and bile salt concentration in the bile ducts of septic rats (P = <0.
