Collet-Sicard syndrome, resulting from the involvement of all four lower cranial nerves, is an extremely rare condition. This case report details a 69-year-old female patient who presented with classic signs and symptoms of lower cranial nerve palsies (IX, X, XI, and XII) and was subsequently diagnosed with Collet-Sicard syndrome secondary to tuberculosis at the base of the skull. A contrast-enhanced MRI of the neck revealed bone marrow edema in the clivus, occipital condyle, and C1 vertebra, along with diffuse surrounding soft tissue swelling and collection, findings consistent with tuberculosis.

Heat-related illnesses include a spectrum of disorders ranging from heat syncope, muscle cramps, and heat exhaustion to heat emergencies such as heatstroke. Severe heatwaves can lead to extremely high environmental temperatures and a spurt of cases of heat-related illnesses and heatstroke. The incidence of such heat-related medical emergencies was much higher in 2024 compared to previous years throughout North and Central India.

Parvovirus B19, commonly associated with erythema infectiosum in children, can also present with various clinical manifestations in adults, including arthropathy, myocarditis, vasculitis, and neurological complications. This case report describes a 39-year-old male who presented with fever, rash, and polyarthralgia, followed by the sudden onset of left-sided facial weakness and slurred speech. Clinical examination revealed lower motor neuron facial nerve palsy and signs consistent with cutaneous small-vessel vasculitis.
