Acid fracturing fluids can effectively improve the microporous structure of coal, thereby enhancing the permeability of coal seam and the efficiency of gas drainage. To explore the effects of acid fracturing fluids on the pore structure modification of coal samples from different coal ranks, hydrochloric acid-based acid fracturing fluids were prepared and used to soak four types of medium to high-rank coal in an experiment. High-pressure mercury intrusion and liquid nitrogen adsorption techniques results demonstrated that the acid fracturing fluid can effectively alter the pore structure of coal.

Methods: We utilized moxibustion treatment in RA rat models using the Zusanli (ST36) and Shenshu (BL23) acupoints. Hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining was used to observe the pathological changes of the synovial tissue under a section light microscope, and pathological scoring was performed according to the grading standard of the degree of synovial tissue disease.
Background: Diabetes is a complex metabolic system disease, and one of the main reasons why it is difficult to heal is that macrophages cannot realize the transition from pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype to anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype. Liriope spicata Lour. is a traditional Chinese medicine.

Maintaining drug retention is essential for both achieving disease control and improving patients' quality of life. This study investigates the influence of pain catastrophizing, a psychological response to pain, on the drug retention rates of PsA and axSpA patients.

This paper focuses on the neutron spectrum measurement using a liquid scintillation detector, where the neutron spectrum could be identified and unfolded from the light output distribution of the EJ-301 liquid scintillation detector through a linear artificial neural network (ANN). The response functions of the EJ-301 detector for monoenergetic neutron sources, as well as the light outputs, have been simulated and calculated by Monte Carlo procedure FLUKA. The linear ANN was trained and tested through the simulated data, where response functions were set as the input of ANN and the corresponding neutron spectra were output.

Methods: Fifty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups ( 10 each): blank Control (CON) group, RA Model (RA) group, Moxibustion (MOX) group, MIF inhibitor (S,R)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-5-isoxazole acetic acid methyl ester (ISO-1) group, and Moxibustion + MIF inhibitor ISO-1 (MOX + ISO-1) group. Rats in the ISO-1 group and ISO-1 + MOX group were intraperitoneally injected with the inhibitor ISO-1.
Background: Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) are inflammatory diseases with shared genetic backgrounds and clinical comorbidities. Headache, a common global health issue, affects over 50% of adults and encompasses various types, including migraine, tension-type, and cluster headaches. Migraine, the most prevalent, recurrent, and disabling type, is often associated with other medical conditions such as depression, epilepsy, and psoriasis, but little is known about the relationship between autoimmune disease and the risk of migraine.

Patient acceptable symptom state (PASS) is a patient-reported measure evaluating the acceptable and/or satisfactory level of symptoms in rheumatic diseases, which has been proposed as a disease activity index, in patients with PsA. Thus, this study was designed to analyse if the association between PASS and PsA disease activity may be biased by the presence of comorbid fibromyalgia.

Background: To analyze the genotype distribution and frequency of hearing loss genes in newborn population and evaluate the clinical value of genetic screening policy in China.
Methods: Genetic screening for hearing loss was offered to 84,029 neonates between March 2019 and December 2021, of whom 77,647 newborns accepted the screening program with one-year follow-up. The genotyping of 15 hot spot variants in GJB2, GJB3, SLC26A4, and MT-RNR1 was performed on microarray platform.
Recently, natural photosensitizers, such as berberine, curcumin, riboflavin, and emodin, have received more and more attention in photodynamic therapy. Tanshinone I (TanI) is extracted from a traditional Chinese herb Danshen, and exhibits many physiological functions including antitumor. TanI is a photoactive phytocompounds, but no work was tried to investigate its potential photodynamic effect.

Here, we introduced a combination of mind mapping and PBL instruction (MBL)into the prosthodontics course for Chinese dental students. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of MBL in prosthodontics and make observations from the students' perspectives, based on their response with the learning process.

Methods: In this paper, we wish to estimate the effect on the virus transmission of scenarios assuming TCM were used to build the first defense line at the very early stage of the spread in Wuhan. We therefore first developed a classic susceptible infected removed (susceptible infected removed, SIR) transmission model based on the national data in China and then updated it to a TCM-SIR model to assess the potential impact of such assumptions, i.
Radioactive aerosols harmful to humans are often produced in nuclear accidents, and their source term characteristics (total volume and particle size distribution) and dispersion patterns have important implications for accident response and hazard assessment. However, experimental studies of radioactive aerosols cannot be directly conducted in open space due to the hazardous nature of radioactive aerosols. In this study, silver was used instead of plutonium to study the aerosol source term under different specific internal energy inputs (SIEI) to simulate a low order explosion in an accident.

Therefore, the study aims to examine the impact of green economic infrastructure on environmental sustainability in one belt and road initiative (OBRI) economies for the period 2007 to 2019. For empirical investigations, the study adopts 2SLS and GMM approaches.

Diabetic trauma disease is characterized by high sugar and very slow wound healing, which is the reason why some patients with severe diabetic trauma require amputation. Prolonged hyperglycemia can lead to changes in bodily functions and endocrine changes, which can lead to permeability damage of epidermal tissue structure, microvascular damage and, in more severe cases, nerve damage, which are also the main causes of diabetic trauma.
