Enhancing the sensitivity and extending the linear sensing range of flexible pressure sensors are crucial for their development and incorporation in wearable electronics. Conventional sensors face a trade-off between sensitivity and linear sensing range, which is often limited by the monotonicity of materials and structural design. To address this challenge, a new piezoresistive flexible sensor is developed in this work, drawing inspiration from the intricate microstructure and pressure-sensing capabilities of human skin.

Simultaneous removal and identification of trace-level cationic dye pollutants from water is both important and challenging owing to their highly polar and complex sample matrices. In this study, three covalent organic frameworks (COFs) were synthesized using 2, 4, 6-triformylphloroglucinol with ethidium bromide (EB) containing positively charged groups, 3, 5-diaminobenzoic acid (DABA) containing negatively charged groups, and p-phenylenediamine (Pa) lacking charged groups. These were named EB-COFs, TpPa-1, and DP-COFs, respectively, and were employed as adsorbents for the extraction and identification of cationic dyes.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 68 elderly patients with hypertension admitted to the Chongming Branch of Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital between March 2022 and June 2023. Scoparodane C (1), a diterpenoid with a rare 3,4-seco-3-nor-2,11-epoxy-ent-clerodane scaffold, was obtained from the aerial parts of Isodon scoparius, along with isocopariusines A-E (2-6), five ent-clerodanoids featuring a 5/6-fused ring system, and isocopariusines F-H (7-9), three common ent-clerodanoids. The structures of these previously undescribed compounds were established by a combination of spectroscopic analysis, X-ray diffraction, chemical derivatization, and quantum chemical calculation. Remarkably, isocopariusine B (3) showed strong resistance reversal activity against fluconazole-resistant Candida albicans.
