Objective: To estimate the lung ultrasound (LUS0) scores within 6 hours of birth in neonates with respiratory distress (RD) and assess its ability to predict the severity of RD.
Methods: This single-center cross-sectional study included all neonates admitted with RD during the study period for whom a LUS was performed within 6h of birth. LUS0 scoring was done by dividing the lung fields into 3 fields on either side and a score from 0 to 3 per field (maximum score 18).
Background: For effective policy making, it is important to understand out of pocket costs incurred in neonatal admissions in public hospitals. This cross sectional study was conducted with an objective to estimate out of pocket expenses expended on neonates and attenders during neonatal hospitalizations in a tertiary care referral hospital.
Material And Methods: The data were collected using a pretested and semi structured questionnaire in 298 neonates during July'2022.
Background: Citrus canker and citrus blue mold are two severe diseases in citrus plants, which are mainly caused by Xanthomonas citri susp. citri (Xcc) and Penicillium italicum, respectively. The currently widely used pesticides for these two diseases are harmful to human health and the environment.

Methods: A retrospective analysis of CSA reported in children aged below 18 years from January, 2019 to June, 2022.
Results: Out of the 231 cases of sexual abuse reported, 115 (49.
Objective: Objective To analyze the risk of premature atherosclerosis in children with transfusion-dependent thalassemia (TDT) compared to controls by measuring carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) and correlating it with clinical and biochemical parameters.
Methods: Case-control study among children aged 2 to 15 years.
Results: Significantly higher CIMT values were observed across all age groups.
At present, foodborne diseases (FBDs) caused by bacteria are gradually increasing every year, and the development of new antibiotics is an urgent necessity for human beings. To find novel antibacterial compounds, three sponge-derived fungal strains (SCSIOS02F40, F46, and F49) were investigated. As a result, sp.

In particular, we focus on college towns due to their density, observability, and significance for school reopenings. We propose a novel group testing strategy which requires only local information about the underlying transmission network.

This innovative tactic has integrated two distinct four-component reactions (4CRs) that occur transiently to form four new heterocycles ten covalent bonds in a single step.

This logical and didactical tactic has integrated the principles of an ideal organic synthesis, privileged substructure-based diversity-oriented synthesis, and biology-oriented synthesis to access hybrid heterocyclic scaffolds.

Novel compounds with significant medicinal properties have gained much interest in therapeutic approaches for treating various inflammatory disorders like arthritis, odema and snake bites and the post-envenom (impregnating with venom) consequences. Inflammation is caused by the increased concentration of secretory Phospholipases A(2) (sPLA(2)s) at the site of envenom. A novel compound Tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphate (TDTBPP) was isolated from the leaves of Vitex negundo and the crystal structure was reported recently.
