Immunology advances have increased our understanding of autoimmune, auto-inflammatory, immunodeficiency, infectious, and other immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs). Furthermore, evidence is growing for the immune involvement in aging, metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases, and different cancers. However, further research has indicated sex/gender-based immune differences, which further increase higher incidences of various autoimmune diseases (AIDs), such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), myasthenia gravis, and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in females.

However, there was still concern about their structural instability in vivo and in vitro. To solve the instability of anthocyanins, we combined aronia bioactive factions (ABFs) and alginic acid via electrostatic molecular interactions and created an ABF-alginic acid nanocomplex (AANCP).

Still today, peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a major digestive illness that affects millions of people around the world every year. This study looks at both traditional and herbal ways of treating PUD, focusing on how they work, how well they work, and whether they can work together. Pharmaceuticals like antibiotics, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), and H2-receptor antagonists are common ways to treat the condition.

A structured teaching-learning (TL) module can enhance the knowledge and skills of undergraduate medical students in this area. Aim The study aims to assess students' performance in cognitive, psychomotor, and communication domains of injury report writing before and after implementing the proposed structured TL module and compare the findings to evaluate the efficacy between the existing TL module and the proposed module.

Methodology: A preliminary list of items best-describing pulpitis was developed based on deductive and inductive approaches and the preliminary tool was piloted (n = 80).
The pathology of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is complex due to its multifactorial nature and single targeting drugs proved inefficient. A series of novel 4-N-substituted-2-phenylquinazoline derivatives was designed and synthesized as potential multi-target directed ligands (MTDLs) through dual inhibition of AChE and MAO-B enzymes along with Aβ aggregation inhibition for the treatment of AD. Two compounds in the series, VAV-8 and VAV-19 were found to be the most potent inhibitors of both AChE and MAO-B enzymes and moderate inhibitor of Aβ, with good thermodynamic stability at the binding pocket of the enzymes.

Methods: Two authors performed the initial search using a set of keywords in six databases. Only CPGs and PS on VPT published during the past five years were included.
Background: The rapid rise of non-communicable diseases, particularly type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), poses a significant global public health challenge, with South Asia experiencing an increasingly severe burden. This study aimed to analyse historical trends of T2DM across South Asia from 1990 to 2021 and forecast incidence through 2031.
Research Design And Methods: We carried out analysis based on the data from the 2021 Global burden of disease study.

Measles, a highly contagious respiratory illness caused by the measles virus (MeV), poses significant global and national public health challenges despite advancements in vaccination efforts. Though measles was declared eliminated in the United States in 2000, recent years have seen a resurgence of cases, particularly in under-vaccinated communities. This resurgence is compounded by factors such as vaccine hesitancy, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on immunization rates, and international travel introducing new cases from endemic regions.

But, in general, a better prognosis is noted for schizophrenia in developing countries, including India. Given the scarcity of related literature from India, this study aimed to evaluate the response rates to clozapine in TRSS and explore predictors of response.

Effective management is essential, particularly in the context of antimicrobial resistance and the frequent use of antibiotics in ICUs.
Methods: This prospective pre-post interventional study was conducted in the medical ICU of a tertiary care centre, over 6 months.
Introduction: The dynamic navigation system (DNS) in endodontics presents a significant learning curve. This cross-sectional study aimed to assess the number of cases required to achieve consistent performance in DNS-assisted treatment of maxillary anterior teeth with pulp canal calcification.
Methods: A series of DNS procedures were performed on 45 calcified maxillary anterior teeth with pulp necrosis by a single endodontist who had no prior clinical DNS experience.
Unlabelled: Antivirals such as nucleotide analogs (NAs) are potent inhibitors of hepatitis B virus (HBV) replication. However, NAs fail to diminish the signaling and mitogenic activities of the transactivator HBx protein. Earlier we have shown that thiourea derivative IR-415 (DSA-00) targeted HBx to down-regulate its target viral and host genes.

Additionally, the study projects future prostate cancer incidence rates up to 2031 to inform public health interventions in South Asia.
Methods: Data covering South Asian countries such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Pakistan were obtained from the GBD 2021 portal.
Background And Aim: To evaluate the pooled estimates of Cronbach's alpha for the Child Oral Health Impact Profile (COHIP) questionnaire using reliability generalization meta-analysis.
Methods: We have conducted a systematic search of literature from PubMed, Scopus, Excerpta Medica Database (EMBASE), and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) from inception till 31 May 2023. Studies in English and those that have reported Cronbach's alpha for the COHIP questionnaire were included.
Molecules with optimized pharmacokinetic properties selectively aimed at the inhibition of STAT3 phosphorylation in brain have recently emerged as potential disease modifying therapies for epilepsy. In the current study, pharmacological inhibition of JAK1/2 with the orally available, FDA-approved drug ruxolitinib, produced nearly complete inhibition of hippocampal STAT3 phosphorylation, and reduced the expression of its downstream target Cyclin D1, when administered to rats 30 min and 3 h after onset of pilocarpine-induced status epilepticus (SE). This effect was accompanied by significantly shorter seizure duration and lower overall seizure frequency throughout the 4 weeks of EEG recording, but did not completely prevent the development of epilepsy in ruxolitinib-treated male rats.

Methods: The health metrics including age-standardised incidence rates (ASIR), prevalence rates (ASPR), disability-adjusted life years (ASDR), and mortality rates (ASMR) per 100,000 for PC were analysed across Indian states and union territories. Join point regression analysis was employed to identify significant changes in these metrics over time.
