Targeted drugs have revolutionized the treatment of advanced non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the understanding of how cardiac comorbidity and toxicity affect the clinical outcomes of patients following targeted therapy remains limited. In a 14‑year cohort, cardiac comorbidities and toxicities among patients with stage‑IV NSCLC treated with targeted therapy were identified.

Methods: An observational study was conducted on 300 consecutive cases of cataract who underwent torsional phacoemulsification by a single surgeon using two-handed stop-and-chop technique. The incidence of retained IOFBs was observed and correlated with the surgical parameters and the density of cataract.
Caspase-6 (CASP6) is an effector caspase that has been marked to possess various pathological attributes associated with neurodegeneration. It is widely expressed in the neurodegenerative brain and peripheral tissues. It plays a vital role in apoptotic cell death and also performs non-apoptotic functions like axon pruning which contribute to the degeneration of neurons.

This systematic review was carried out to appraise the evidence regarding the brassiere-wearing practices and problems faced by breast cancer survivors. An electronic search was carried out across eight databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct, Google Scholar, Embase, CINAHL and ProQuest. Two researchers independently screened the studies for their eligibility and study quality.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical and radiographic success rate of a combination of 38% silver diamine fluoride (SDF) application and Hall technique (HT) for the management of dentinal caries in primary molars and compare it with conventional stainless steel crown (SSC) restoration.
Materials And Methods: Children aged 4-8 years, having carious primary molars with the International Caries Detection and Assessment System (ICDAS) score of 5 or 6, were randomly assigned to treatment group A or B.
Objectives: Choledochal cyst excision (CDCE) with hepaticojejunostomy is standard of care in choledochal cysts. Complications related to inadequate healing of distal stump like post-operative pancreatic fistula (POPF) and bleeds have not been addressed in literature. We report two decade experience with these complications following CDCE.

It is well known that altered sleep-wake cycles affect host metabolism and significantly deregulate the host immunity. The dysregulation of circadian-related genes is critical for various malignancies.

For example, nanostructured forms such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs), graphene, and carbon quantum dots have the potential to revolutionize various industries (Roston 2010; In and Noy 2014; Peng20147 1-29). The global scientific community continues to research in the field of creating new materials, particularly low-dimensional carbon allotropes such as CNTs and carbyne.

A synthetic patient-specific bone substitute can be developed by using 3D printing technologies in such cases. In the present study, we have developed photocurable composite resins with poly(trimethylene carbonate) (PTMC) containing a high percentage of biodegradable bioactive strontium-substituted nanohydroxyapatite (SrHA, size 30-70 nm).

This is due to the anisotropic characteristics of OC tissue and the stratified structure of the cartilage. Here, we developed a multilayered OC scaffold by employing cryogelation technology.

It proposes two- and three-dimensional homojunction models based on p-HgCdTe/n-HgCdTe, focusing on applications in the long-wavelength infrared range. The photodetector's performance is analyzed using Silvaco ATLAS TCAD software and compared with analytical calculations based on drift-diffusion, tunneling, and Chu's approximation techniques.

However, concerns have arisen regarding the precision of their targeting abilities. Nanoparticle approaches are revolutionizing cancer treatment by enabling targeted drug delivery, which enhances the efficacy and reduces the toxicity of chemotherapy.

This capability is particularly crucial in the realm of gastrointestinal disorders, where even experienced gastroenterologists find the automatic diagnosis of such conditions using endoscopic pictures to be a challenging endeavor. Currently, gastrointestinal findings in medical diagnosis are primarily determined by manual inspection by competent gastrointestinal endoscopists.

Chronic hyperglycemia culminates into deteriorating microvasculature and quality of bone, making it prone to fractures. Among these, hip fractures are most common, especially in older diabetic patients apart from underlying neuropathy.
