Introduction: Cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Breast cancer risk has risen due to lifestyle choices and genetic factors. Women with breast cancer symptoms experience lower quality of life (QoL), particularly in psychological and physical domains, compared to healthy women.

Introduction: Unintentional childhood injuries is one of the public health challenges among developing countries. The injuries often cause mortality and have significant burden of morbidity in Malaysia, and this can be prevented. Parents play important role in practicing preventive measures to reduce likelihood of unintentional injuries among their children.

Prevalence of smoking and drinking habits among Form Six students in Petaling District, Selangor.

Smoking and alcohol intake patterns may persist from adolescence to adulthood. The aims of this study are to determine the prevalence and factors associated with smoking and drinking habits among Form Six students. This was a cross-sectional study conducted in January 2003 among Form Six students from government schools in the Petaling District, Selangor.
