Background: The aim of this retrospective study was to explore the relationship between psychotropic medication dosage and birth outcomes.

Background: Abnormalities of upper gut motility, including a delay of gastric emptying and small bowel transit, found in patients with constipation may be secondary to factors originating in the colon or rectum as a result of faecal stasis.
