Medical practitioners are increasingly using artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots for easier and faster access to information. To our knowledge, the accuracy and availability of AI-generated chemotherapy protocols has not yet been studied. Nine simulated cancer patient cases were designed and AI chatbots, ChatGPT version 3.

Growing evidence indicates the predictive roles of driver gene mutations in the development of brain metastases (BM) in recent years, meaning that oncogene-driven NSCLC have a high incidence of BM at diagnosis. Today, 3rd generation targeted drugs with high intracranial efficacy, which can cross the blood-brain barrier, have made a positive contribution to survival for these patients with an increased propensity to BM.

Introduction: The present study aims to assess the differences between major depressive disorder (MDD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in terms of verbal learning profile together with structural changes in the brain on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and to reveal predictive factors for MCI.
Methods: Fifty-six patients with MDD and 31 MCI subjects were assessed using the Turkish Verbal Memory Processes Test (VMPT). Brain MRI was used to evaluate sulcal atrophy (SA), ventricular atrophy, periventricular white matter hyperintensity (WMH), subcortical WMH, basal ganglia infarct, medial temporal lobe atrophy, and infratentorial infarct scores based on the Modified Visual MRI Rating Scale (MVMRS).
Background Uterine leiomyosarcomas (LMS) are associated with more recurrence and higher mortality compared to other uterine cancers. Considering the limited number of case series in the literature, the limited effectiveness of standard treatment methods, and the inadequacy of molecular biomarkers, we planned to investigate the effects of treatment methods and survival outcomes in these patients. Methodology The study was designed retrospectively, and the records of patients who were followed up and treated at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Medical Oncology Clinic, between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2021, were reviewed.

Cortical atrophy and white matter changes are common findings on magnetic resonance imaging among elderly. Several visual scales have been proposed to evaluate these changes using neuroimaging. We have recently proposed a scale (Modified Visual Magnetic Resonance Rating Scale) recently which allows us to evaluate atrophy, white matter hyperintensities, basal ganglia and infratentorial infarcts together.

The earthquake generated a tsunami that hit the coasts of Samos Island, Greece and İzmir, Turkey. National teams performed two post-tsunami field surveys on 31 October to 1 November 2020, and 4-6 November 2020, along the Turkish coastline; while the former was a quick survey on the days following the tsunami, the latter involved more detailed measurement and investigation focusing on a ~ 110-km-long coastline extending from Alaçatı (Çeşme District of İzmir) to Gümüldür (Menderes District of İzmir).

To this end, a sequence of econometrics tests were conducted to address this hypothesized relationship. The choice of China is informed by intense industrial activities and being one of the leading world economies.

Thiol-disulfide homeostasis is as a novel indicator of oxidative stress.
Objectives: We aimed to evaluate thiol-disulfide homeostasis in a large patient population with OSA.
Aim: Tuberculin skin test (TST) is still used in diagnostic algorithms of childhood tuberculosis (TB). QuantiFERON TB Gold In-Tube assay (QFT-GIT) is an alternative test to TST based on the detection of interferon-gamma release upon in vitro induction of peripheral mononuclear cells by TB antigens. In this study, we aimed to determine the diagnostic value and performance of QFT-GIT for active childhood TB.

Therefore, in an attempt to investigate environmental issues among the coastline Mediterranean countries (CMCs) for the first time, the current study examines the dynamic long-run nexus of carbon dioxide (CO) emissions with food production and inflation rate over the annual period 1995-2014. Using a dynamic Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach, the consumption of renewable energy in the panel of sixteen (16) CMCs is empirically observed to be an efficient policy vehicle for mitigating CO emissions.

However, this common procedure can potentially have an impact on the long-term outcome, with tumor implantation into the tracheostomized wound leading to peristomal recurrence after laryngectomy, with the risk of stomal recurrence.
Objective: To describe our clinical experience with tumor debulking as an alternative treatment choice of tracheotomy in patients with advanced larynx cancer at a tertiary referral center.
Objective: Reactivation of the hepatitis B virus (HBV) refers to an increase in HBV replication in a patient with inactive or resolved HBV. In this retrospective study, our aim is to present and compare HBV reactivation in multiple myeloma (MM) patients who received lenalidomide and/or bortezomib at any time during treatment, evaluate the factors associated with reactivation, and demonstrate the outcome of patients.
Materials And Methods: We evaluated 178 MM patients who received lenalidomide (n=102) and/or bortezomib (n=174) during their treatment schedules.
In spite of the continued deployment of technologies, innovations toward addressing the challenges of global warming, forecasting and sustaining quality environment have remained the herculean endeavour of the advanced states. Also, being migrants' destinations, resulting from the availability of economic opportunities, the target of attaining low-carbon, energy efficiency, and the cleaner atmospheric environment by these advanced economies is further bewildered. In that light, we investigate the impact of renewable energy consumption and migration on the carbon dioxide emissions of the panel of European Union's largest economies of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom over the period of 1990-2016.

Objective: To investigate whether rectus femoris KT application after delayed onset muscle soreness enhances recovery of muscle soreness, edema, and physical performance.
Participants: A total of 22 healthy amateur male athletes participated in this study.
Background: As cognitive impairment increases with age, sulcal atrophy (SA) and the enlargement of the ventricles also increase. Considering the measurements on the previously proposed visual scales, a new scale is proposed in this study that allows us to evaluate the atrophy, white matter hyperintensities (WMHs), basal ganglia infarct (BGI), and infratentorial infarct (ITI) together. Our aim of this study is to propose a practical and standardized MRI for the clinicians to be used in daily practice.

Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 249 allo-HSCTs performed between 2011 and 2016 in our centre.
This study aimed at assessing renal functions in patients with transfusion-dependent thalassemia (TDT). Fifty patients and 30 controls were enrolled in this prospective study. Serum levels of electrolytes and albumin were measured by a spectrophotometer.

Objectives: To evaluate the role of adenotonsillar hypertrophy and the outcomes of adenotonsillectomy (AT) on oxidative stress for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in children using a new method; thiol/disulfide homeostasis.
Methods: The study is consisted of 45 children with OSA and 38 healthy control subjects with similar age and sex. Children 3-12 years of age with OSA, defined as having an apnea/hypopnea index (AHI) of 5 or more in an overnight polysomnography, underwent adenotonsillectomy.

Little is known about the association between idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSNHL) and oxidative stress. We investigated changes in a wide range of oxidants and antioxidants to create a comprehensive picture of oxidative imbalance. In the peripheral blood of 50 ISSNHL patients and 50 healthy subjects, total oxidant status (TOS), total antioxidant status (TAS), paraoxonase (PON), thiol/disulphide levels were measured.
