This study aimed to adopt the use of the Health Improvement Profile in the Turkish context and to report the findings obtained during its pilot implementation. This descriptive cross-sectional study consisted of 280 individuals, and data were collected using the Patient and Disease Characteristics Form and the Health Improvement Profile between May and December 2019 ın community mental health centers. The total content validity index of the Health Improvement Profile (Female-Male) was 0.

This study aimed to investigate the 1STST -test-retest reliability and convergent validity and compare its physiological responses to the six-minute walk test (6MWT) in patients with Atrial fibrillation (AF).
Methods: Forty-five patients with AF were included in this study.

Advances in digital technology and intraoral scanners (IOSs) have the potential to enable accurate digital impressions for patients with maxillary defects. This study aimed to compare the accuracy of IOSs in completely and partially edentulous models with maxillary defects. Three polyurethane models-one completely edentulous (CE) and two partially edentulous, following Aramany classifications I (ACI) and II (ACII)-were created using stereolithography.

The French Ministry of Health has supported a seek-and-treat pilot intervention aiming at micro-elimination in Perpignan, France, to inform scale-up of elimination efforts across the whole territory.

Although parameters of RV systolic function are widely used to define RV dysfunction, there is scarce data to suggest these parameters are best suited to predict HF-related outcomes.
Aims: We aimed to understand which morphologic or functional parameters are most closely associated with short-term mortality and HF-related hospitalization in patients with HF.
Epitaxial quantum dot (QD) scintillator crystals with picosecond-scale timing and high light yield have been created for medical imaging, high energy physics and national security applications. Monolithic photodetector (PD) integration enables the sensing of photons generated within the waveguiding crystal and allows a wide range of scintillator-photodetector coupling geometries. Until recently, these doubly novel devices have suffered from complex, high variance responses to monoenergetic sources which significantly reduces their precision and accuracy.

Methods: Real-world data on Empagliflozin and Dapagliflozin use in patients with HEART failure: The RED-HEART study is a multicentre, cross-sectional and observational study that included HF patients in the outpatient setting regardless of ejection fraction from 19 cardiology centres between August 2023 and December 2023.
Results: The study population consisted of 1923 patients with HF, predominantly men (61.
Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the levels of nurses-patients interaction, as well as the humanistic practices in the field of nurse´s care.
Method: This cross-sectional and correlational study was conducted with 291 nurses in Istanbul between May-August 2022. The los datos were collected using the Personal Information Form, Caring Nurse-Patient Interaction-Short Form (CNPI), and Humanistic Practice Ability of Nursing (HPAN).
Tumor-associated T cells orchestrate cancer rejection after checkpoint blockade immunotherapy. T cell function depends on dynamic antigen recognition through the T cell receptor (TCR) resulting in T cell activation. Here, we present an approach to quantify the dynamics and magnitude of tumor-associated T cell activation at multiple time points in living mice using the genetically encoded calcium reporter Salsa6f and functional intravital microscopy (F-IVM).

From 5 mM glucose, a rapid shift to 0.5 mM glucose produces a membrane depolarization by an unknown mechanism in most neurons.

In this study, we introduced a k-iterative double sliding-window (DSW^k) method for the estimation of spectral noise, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and baseline correction. The performance was evaluated using simulated spectra and compared against other commonly employed methods. Convergent evaluation determined that a k value of 20 strikes an optimal balance between convergence and computational intensity.

Isolated BMAD has been classified into three molecular groups: patients with ARMC5 alteration, KDM1A alteration, and patients without known genetic cause. The aim of this study was to identify by NGS, in a cohort of 26 patients with BMAD, the somatic alterations acquired in different nodules after macrodissection from patients with germline ARMC5 or KDM1A alterations and to analyze potential somatic alterations in a panel of five other genes involved in adrenal pathology (GNAS, PDE8B, PDE11A, PRKAR1A, and PRKACA).

Although there are many biomarkers that can help predict the prognosis of patients with HF, there is a need for simpler, cheaper, and more easily available biomarkers.
Objective: To evaluate the predictive value of pan-immune-inflammation value (PIV) in patients with acute decompensated HF.
Aims: To examine the psychometric properties of the Stirling Antenatal Anxiety Scale (SAAS), developed by Sinesi et al., which assesses the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the prenatal period, in the Turkish culture, and to conduct a validity and reliability study.
Methods: This study had a methodological approach, with a cross-sectional and descriptive research design.
Objective: This study assessed and compare the clinical and sonographic outcomes of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) in patients with lateral epicondylitis (LE).
Methods: Forty-two LE patients were randomly divided into two groups: the ESWT group (n=21) and the sham-ESWT control group (n=21). Both groups underwent wrist resting splinting, stretching, strengthening exercises for wrist extensors, and ice application.
