Application of ursodeoxycholic acid in a standard dosage for 3 months provided a positive effect in relation to the indexes of the immune system for patients with the cholesterosis of gall-bladder. It is shown that medicine assists renewal of T-cell immunity, renders positive influence on B-link and renewal of index of immunoregulation can be seen. Reliable increase of specific receptors to CD25, HLA-DR and high level of CD95 testifies about including of the scray reaction of organism under influence of ursodeoxycholic acid on the remaining high indexes of B-cell of immunity.

In the blood serum the contents of the inflammation markers was determined: tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-10 (IL-10), ratio TNF-alpha/IL-10 was calculated, as well as activity of elastase in feces. Analysis of these indices permits to estimate the activity of pancreatic inflammatory process in patients, suffering CHP, what secures rising of the preoperative diagnosis and treatment efficacy, as well as reduction of intra- and postoperative complications rate.

Helicobacter pylori positive form of duodenal ulcer (CagA+ and CagA-) was studied in 120 patients with duodenal ulcer (DU). CagA+ was found in 78 patients (65%); CagA(-)--in 42 (35%). Diagnostic criteria of symbiosis between Helicobacter pylori and macroorganisms have been established.

These studies were conducted in the period of flight-development tests during man-compartible estimation of the cockpit of a light aircraft. The existence of natrium and secretory "A"-immunoglobulin in saliva in combination with psychophysiological parameters of tensity made it possible to reveal different levels of tensity proliferation (slight, moderate, strong and very strong).

A close relationship has been established between the immune and neurohumoral links of regulation and state of the acid forming gastric function in patients with ulcer disease.

Results indicate increase of the therapeutic effect due to improvement of regeneration of the intestine and improvement of the immunity status.

The recombination test was done by the conventional method in chick embryo fibroblast culture (genes PB2, PB1, PA, NP, NA, M and NS) or cell systems permissive for reproduction of human influenza virus (gene HA). The cold-adapted strain A/Len/17 used for preparation of live influenza vaccine (LIV) for adults was shown to have 4 ts mutations: three in "internal" genes (PB2, NP, and M) and one in gene 4 coding for hemagglutinin (HA).

It was shown that the perivascular oedema of choroid plexus reaches the maximum during late stages of infection, after the clinical recovery. Sharp increase of the permeability of cerebral vessels causing the perivascular oedema, especially in choroid plexus of lateral brain ventricles, proposed to be one of possible mechanisms of pathogenic action of the virus.

This was manifested by low isolation rate of virus in the interepidemic period, reduced hemagglutinating, interfering, and immunogenic activity of these viruses, poor reproduction in the lung tissue of white mice and the lack of virus-specific syntheses in splenocytes of infected Syrian hamsters. Unlike epidemic strains, the interepidemic strains had ts mutation in gene 6 coding for neuraminidase.

The artificially developed avirulent A/PR/8/240 and A/Mel/375 variants had low immunogenic activity and a marked temperature sensitivity to 40 degrees C. Common ts mutations in the genomes of these avirulent variants located in genes 1 and 7 coding for P3 and M proteins were demonstrated.

The viruses related to A/Philippines/2/82 comprising one-third of all isolations produced antibodies of a wide spectrum unlike the other two variants whose antisera neutralize actively the homologous virus only. The possibility of selecting epidemic strains of the A/Philippines/2/82 variety as vaccine strain candidates is discussed.

A comparative study of A1 viruses isolated in 1947--1956 and A1/77 established closer relationship of the latter to the causative agents of 1949 and 1950 epidemics. The "old" and newly isolated viruses 4ere also closely related biologically.
