Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of sarcopenia on overall survival and local relapse in head and neck cancer patients undergoing surgical excision.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective study includes head and neck cancer patients primarily treated with surgical excision in a tertiary care center. Patients were included if they had undergone an abdominal region Computer Tomography scan at least 45 days before the surgical excision.
Objective: This study was designed to examine the impact of social media addiction on healthy lifestyle beliefs in adolescents.

Introduction: This study aims to assess caregiver burnout in relation to children diagnosed with laryngomalacia and identify factors influencing burnout levels.
Materials And Methods: A cohort of 101 caregivers of children with laryngomalacia was studied. Burnout was assessed using the Zarit burden interview (ZBI), while the Hamilton anxiety and Hamilton depression scales were employed to gauge psychological distress.
Purpose/aim Of The Study: A case admitted with dysarthria and syncope and hyperintense lesion in the splenium of the corpus callosum, diagnosed as Legionnaires' disease by detecting Legionella antigen in the urine, and recovered only with antibiotic treatment is presented because it is rare in the literature.
Materials And Methods: When a 64-year-old female patient was admitted to the emergency department with complaints of sudden loss of consciousness and fainting at home, she had speech impairment, and her pulse oxygen saturation in room air was 88%. In the neurological examination, there was no pathological finding except dysarthria in the patient with no motor deficit.
Actinomycosis often leads to cervicofacial infections, but thoracic involvement may also occur. However, the development of empyema is rare. While being followed up with the diagnosis of asthma and bronchiectasis, our case was hospitalized for infected bronchiectasis.

We present a patient who had spontaneous resolution of a right L3/4 lumbar juxtafacet cyst (LJFC); and in whom, 2.5 years after regression of the previous cyst, a new contralateral L3/4 LJFC developed. Furthermore, with an extensive review, we discuss the selection criteria for patients for conservative treatment.

Appendicitis scoring systems considering gender can help the clinician to reduce negative appendectomy rates in females. This present study aims to compare the Lintula, Ripasa, Fenyo-Lindberg scoring systems, which use gender as a variable, with the Alvarado, Karaman, scoring systems to evaluate which CSS is more successful in the differential diagnosis of appendicitis in females.

Background: The purpose of this study was to assess the cytotoxicity of various concentrations of ozonated water (OW) on human primary dental pulp cells.
Methods: Human primary dental pulp cells were isolated from exfoliated primary canine teeth of an 11-year-old patient with good systemic and oral health. Afterwards, cells were divided into 6 experimental groups; four groups of OW in concentrations of 2 mg/L, 4 mg/L, 8 mg/L, and 16 mg/L, untreated control group, and cell culture without cells.

In this study, the phylogeny of genus distributed in Turkish freshwaters was performed by analyzing mitochondrial cyt gene (1141 bp) and COI gene (1551 bp) sequences from 1172 samples representing 112 populations of 24 species through their geographical distribution. According to our findings, 20 valid species are distributed in Turkey of which 18 have already been known. While six species () have been synonomized, two new species ( sp.
