Biogenic nanoparticles (NPs) have emerged as promising therapeutic formulations in effective drug delivery. Despite of various positive attributes, these NPs are often conjugated with various cytotoxic organic fluorophores for bioimaging, thereby reducing its effectiveness as a potential carrier.
