The current standard of residential buildings is based on well-insulated and airtight construction as an effective way to reduce primary energy consumption. On the other hand, this intensifies the issue of the indoor air quality. In this paper, the applicability of a hybrid dehumidification/evaporative cooling system for the processing and supply of fresh air is evaluated.
