The aim of the study was determination of the type of epidemic manifestations of cholera in the Republic of Crimea based on evaluation of epidemic manifestations of cholera risk of introduction and spread of the infection. It was concluded, that, based on the cholera outbreaks, that had taken place, contamination of surface water bodies (fresh and sea) and sewage by Vibrio cholerae O1 ctxA+ and Vibrio cholerae O1 ctXA- potential epidemic danger of introduction of the infection by various types of international transport, population migration, the presence of epidemiologic risk in realization of water pathway of transmission of cholera causative agent and several other social conditions, the Republic of Crimea remains in the group of territories of type I by epidemic manifestations of cholera.

The direct technique enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in flatbed alternative shortens time of analysis up to 70-80 minutes and in case of dot enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay on membrane - up to 70-90 minutes. It is established that in case of analysis in conditions of room temperature (20-25 C) sensitivity of techniques remains at initial level.

The combination of antibacterial therapy with Nukleinat and Galavit promotes the positive changes of cytokin-producing ability of immunocompetent cells and decrease in the level of proinflammation cytokines in blood and urine, secretory leucocyte protease inhibitor (SLPI) in urine. In children with PN and adult patients with diagnostically elevated titres of antibodies (IgG) to Herpes simplex virus, Cytomegalovirus are shown the positive effects of Kanephron® H and Proteflazidum, accordingly.

In this work basic stages of formation of the epidemiological surveillance of cholera in Russia are described. In 1990-s for the first time zoning by epidemic manifestations of cholera was carried out at the level of subjects forming parts of Russia and other Republics of the Soviet Union with the introduction of differential tactics of epidemiological surveillance. Improvement of epidemiological surveillance of cholera was aimed at harmonization with the IHR (2005), integration of epidemiological surveillance of cholera and social-hygienic monitoring of water objects of I and II categories.

Aim: VNTR-typing of Vibrio cholerae strains isolated in the territory of Russian Federation in 2012.
Materials And Methods: 71 Vibrio cholerae O3 and 3 V cholerae O1/O139 strains were used in the study. Genotyping was performed by using PCR for 5 VNTR-loci.
We report the draft genome sequencing of five Vibrio cholerae O1 El Tor clinical isolates collected in the Russian Federation from imported cholera cases in 2006, 2010, and 2012. In the initial phylogenetic analysis, one isolate clustered with the Haiti/Nepal-4 group.

Analysis of the antibioticograms of 22 strains of Vibrio cholerae non O1/non O139 serogroups (ctxA- tepA-) isolated from the environment in the Rostov Region in 2011 showed that all the cultures were susceptible to ciprofloxacin, aminoglycosides, ceftriaxone, trimetoprime/sulfamethoxazole and resistant to levomycetin and furazolidone. 32%, 18% and 9% of the isolates were resistant to tetracycline, rifampicin and nalidixic acid respectively. No strains of V.

It is established that not only ascitic but culture fluid too can be the source of monoclonal antibodies for producing fluorescent conjugates. The optimal conditions are selected to produce the fluorescent monoclonal immunoglobulins-monoclonal antibodies.

Aim: Comparative study of sensitivity and specificity of immunochromatographic (IC) assay kit and dot-immunoanalysis for assessment of feasibility of their use for laboratory diagnostics of cholera.
Materials And Methods: Experimental lots of IC assay kit and dot-immunoassay (DIA) for detection of Vibrio cholerae serogroup 01 serovars Ogava and Inaba were constructed on the basis of species-specific monoclonal antibodies (MCA) conjugated with colloid gold (IC) and peroxidase (DIA). Hybridoma-producer of MCAwas obtained and stored in liquid nitrogen in Rostov-on-Don Research Institute for Plague Control.
The agglutinating properties of MCA-O1 of the IgG class and MCA-O139 of the IgM class towards epitopes of O-antigen of Vibrio cholerae O1 and accordingly Vibrio cholerae O139 were studied. The ascitic and cultural fluids by hybridomas F8G12 and D11 deposited in the specialized Collection of Cell Cultures of Vertebrates (Saint Petersburg) under RKKK (II) 386 D and RKKK (II) 674 D were the sources of monoclonal immunoglobulins. The advantage of diagnostic monoclonal immunoglobulins is that they are distinguished for strict specificity and their use in practical health care contributes to the higher specificity of a laboratory test for cholera and to its shorter performance.
