Experimental study of the Al-Cu-Zn ternary phase diagram.

The phase diagram of the Al-Cu-Zn ternary system was re-investigated experimentally. The current study was designed to contribute to a better description of those parts of the phase diagram, which are disputed in the current scientific literature. Mutual relations in the family of ternary intermetallic phases with cubic, rhombohedral and modulated structure at temperatures 400 °C and 550 °C were described.

Updated catalogue of Pompilidae (Hymenoptera) in Iran.

An updated list of the Pompilidae (Hymenoptera) from Iran is presented. This catalogue contains species records that were published in a 128 years period from 1888 to 2016. In all, 162 species belonging to 41 genera and three subfamilies are recorded in Iran.

Phase equilibria in the ternary In-Ni-Sn system at 700 °C.

The phase equilibria of the ternary system In-Ni-Sn were investigated experimentally at 700 °C using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) including electron micro probe analysis (EMPA) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). A corresponding isothermal section was established based on these results. This particular temperature was chosen because it allowed obtaining reliable results within reasonable time.

In this work the breakthrough volumes (BTVs) of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on Tenax TA were determined in the -10 to 170 degrees C temperature range by using microtrap (MT) technology. The MT technology allowed experimental investigation of the temperature dependence of BTVs. Along with the BTV data, we also discuss the thermodynamics of the temperature dependence of the BTV through a two-parameter equation In (BTV) = A1/T + C1 where T is temperature (K), A1 = -deltaH/R where deltaH is enthalpy of sorption and C1 is constant.

The state of health of the Romany population in the Czech Republic.

The health state pilot study of Romany nationality people (432 adults and 105 children) intended on relationship between social characteristics and presentation of health problems, further on the index of absence from work due to illness and mutual relations. The frequent occurrence of diagnostic groups E10-14, F70-79 and M00-99 was found among the group of men. The results of investigation are valid in particular for our examined group.
