High-resolution imaging of Cu/low-k on-chip interconnect stacks in advanced microelectronic products is demonstrated using full-field transmission X-ray microscopy (TXM). The comparison of two lens-based laboratory X-ray microscopes that are operated at two different photon energies, 8.0 keV and 9.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFAcute guttate psoriasis (AGP) is considered an uncommon variant of psoriasis (PsO), characterized as a widespread eruption of erythematous, psoriasiform papules, and plaques on the trunk, extremities, and scalp. Predisposing factors include a family history of PsO, variation in the main PsO susceptibility gene , and previous infection with viruses or acute β-hemolytic A program focused on controversies and recent advances in understanding AGP was presented at the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) 2022 annual meeting. Topics included an overview of clinical presentation and natural history, predisposing genetic and environmental factors, and the recent molecular profiling that supports classification of AGP as a form of PsO.

The objective of this study was to evaluate PGA × BSA as an alternative to Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) for psoriasis assessments.
Methods: The relationship between PASI and PGA × BSA was assessed in a post hoc analysis of pooled data from the PRISTINE (NCT00663052) and PRESTA (NCT00245960) trials in patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis who received etanercept 50 mg/week.
Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are immune disorders with a complex polygenic basis. HLA-Cw6, which lies in the major histocompatibility region on chromosome 6, is considered the major genetic determinant of psoriasis. Recent genome-wide association studies have identified new variants outside of the MHC with relevance to the immunology of psoriasis.

Recently, we reported that three IL13 polymorphisms, rs1800925, rs20541, and rs848, on chromosome 5q31 conferred the risk for Ps. IL13 encodes IL-13, a Th2 cytokine, and rs1800925 and rs20541 confer risk of asthma.

Methods: Data were obtained from 420 respondents to the 2005 National Psoriasis Foundation telephone and e-mail surveys. Logistic regression was used to determine whether disease severity, body mass index, age of onset, psoriatic arthritis, income, ethnicity, sex, current therapy, and quality-of-life measures predicted reported sleep interference within the last month.
