Hospital-based school programs (HBSPs) help these kids transition back to school, addressing challenges like emotional issues, peer rejection, and academic setbacks.
A survey of educators found that while they viewed HBSPs positively, there were concerns about communication and a lack of training to support CSHCN, with most accommodations focusing on academics and attendance.
