Background And Aims: Guidelines recommend that high-risk patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) be treated with maximally tolerated statins to lower low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels and reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events. In patients whose LDL-C remains elevated, non-statin adjunct therapies, including ezetimibe (EZE), bempedoic acid (BA), and proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitors are recommended.
Methods: The impact of BA and EZE in a fixed-dose combination (FDC) on LDL-C goal attainment was evaluated using a simulation model developed for a United States cohort of high-risk adults with ASCVD.

Methods: A Markov cohort simulation model estimated major adverse cardiovascular events avoided over a lifetime horizon among patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and baseline LDL-C levels from 80 to >200 mg/dL.
Objective: Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) is associated with significant quality-of-life burden yet is often undertreated. With limited FDA-approved treatments, health care providers must determine optimal treatment among approved and off-label options. Key objectives of this review were to reassess, update, and expand a previous systematic review of commonly used treatment options for primary hyperhidrosis, including consideration of aluminum and zirconium compounds.

Methods: Commercial health plan members in the US with ≥ 2 hyperhidrosis diagnosis codes and/or antiperspirant prescription claims were identified from January 2010 through November 2017.
Aim: To assess the cost-effectiveness of onabotulinumtoxinA (onabotA), implantable sacral nerve stimulation devices, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation, anticholinergic medications and mirabegron compared with best supportive care (BSC) for management of refractory overactive bladder (OAB).
Methods: A Markov model was developed to compare the cost-effectiveness of treatment options with BSC over a 10-year time horizon. Resource utilization, discontinuation rates and costs were derived from unpublished and published sources.
Aims: To psychometrically evaluate the Impact of Nighttime Urination (INTU) questionnaire, a new patient-reported outcome measure developed to assess the impact of nocturia on health and functioning in a multicenter, behavioral modification (fluid restriction) study.
Methods: Participants aged 50-95 years with at least two voiding episodes/night for ≥6 months completed voiding diaries and the INTU on 3 consecutive days during weeks 1 and 2 (same day recall) and completed the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Nocturia Quality of Life Questionnaire (N-QOL) at baseline and days 8 and 15. Psychometric evaluations of the INTU were conducted.

Methods: Development of the questionnaire followed an iterative patient-directed process as recommended by current guidance for patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures. An initial 15-item questionnaire was devised based on reviewing the published literature, and then modified through four rounds of semi-structured interviews of 28 individuals with nocturia.
