This study aims at understanding the rationale behind performing prefeed gastric aspirations in preterm infants, how nurses and physicians interpret the gastric aspiration and variations between them, and illuminating potential barriers for omitting routine prefeed aspiration. Nurses and physicians from all Danish neonatal intensive care units completed a questionnaire. Of 682 participants, the majority (94%) indicated that they routinely performed prefeed aspiration, primarily to check the feeding tube placement (nurses: 88%, physicians: 46%).

Here, we investigate how mean climatic conditions and rates of climatic change impact parasitoid insect communities in 16 localities across the Arctic. We focus on parasitoids in a widespread habitat, Dryas heathlands, and describe parasitoid community composition in terms of larval host use (i.

What generated this biotic response across Palaeozoic seascapes is a matter of debate; several intrinsic and extrinsic drivers have been suggested. Aims: To compare total abdominal hysterectomy (TAH) to subtotal abdominal hysterectomy (SAH) regarding effects on sexuality.
Methods: In a Danish multicenter trial 319 women were randomized to TAH (n = 158) or SAH (n = 161); 185 women had self-selected TAH (n = 80) or SAH (n = 105) in a simultaneously conducted observational study.
