The application of spermatogonial stem cells (SSC) will be more effective and feasible following the successful cryopreservation and transfer of SSCs in livestock. Like other cells, SSCs are also sensitive to cryoinjury; hence composition of the cryomedia and freezing protocols need to be optimized. The present study aims to optimising the best freezing rates by minimising the ice crystallization and dehydration effect in order to maximize the post-thaw SSCs survivability and stemness characteristics.

This study evaluated CT features for distinguishing pheochromocytomas in good and poor washout subcohorts.
Methods: We prospectively analyzed 72 patients with unilateral lipid-poor adrenal masses.

Sperm transcriptomics provide insights into subtle differences in sperm fertilization competence. For predicting the success of complex traits like male fertility, identification of hub genes involved in various sperm functions are essential. The bulls from the transcriptome profiled samples (n = 21), were grouped into good and poor progressive motility (PM), acrosome integrity (AI), functional membrane integrity (FMI) and fertility rate (FR) groups.

Cefiderocol, a siderophilic cephalosporin, has broad Gram-negative antimicrobial activity and central nervous system penetration and is used for the treatment of hospital-acquired pneumonia or VAP in adults. Scarce data exists on its use in neonates.

Overt immune response against the sperm proteins leads to idiopathic infertility. Hence, the aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of the auto-antigenic potential of sperm on the antioxidant status, metabolic activities and reactive oxygen species (ROS) in bovine.

The fresh and post-thawed buffalo sperm (n = 6 each) samples were evaluated for their functional attributes, and sperm total RNA was subjected to transcriptome sequencing followed by validation using real-time PCR and dot blot. Overall, 6911 genes had an expression of FPKM > 1, and among these 431 genes were abundantly expressed (FPKM > 20) in buffalo sperm.

Design: We reviewed literature for first-line glucocorticoid treatment in PAH until December 2021 and performed an individual patient data meta-analysis to analyze clinical, hormonal, and radiological outcomes with respect to route, dose, and duration (<6.5 vs 6.
The current work explores the adsorptive efficiency of carbon nanospheres (CNSs) derived from oil palm leaves (OPL) that are a source of biowaste. CNSs were synthesized at 400, 600, 800 and 1000 °C, and those obtained at 1000 °C demonstrated maximum removal efficiency of ~91% for malachite green (MG). Physicochemical and microscopic characteristics were analysed by FESEM, TEM, FTIR, Raman, TGA and XPS studies.

The objective of the present study was to assess the influence of X-linked genes on the sperm functional parameters and field fertility rate in the Holstein Friesian cattle (n = 12) and Murrah buffalo (n = 7) bulls. The enrichment analysis (cattle = 8; buffalo = 8) of the X-linked genes was carried out using retrospective RNA-seq data and mRNA expression levels of functionally relevant genes were validated using the RT-qPCR.

Moreover, the pathophysiological link between perinatal events and PSIS is unclear. We aim to elucidate the predictors of PSIS among patients with growth hormone deficiency (GHD) and perinatal events in PSIS by comparing cohorts of PSIS and genetically proven GHD without PSIS.

Due to their high surface area and mesoporous nature, PNCs exhibited extremely fast and efficient adsorption behavior. PNCs synthesized at an elevated temperature of 1000 °C are used in batch experiments, as they showed maximum dye removal with high surface area.

We have previously proposed "percentage arterial enhancement" (PAE) as an objective index and now aim to validate its performance prospectively.
Methods: Dual-phase CT was performed in 40 consecutive primary hyperparathyroidism patients.
Objectives: To describe Asian Indian patients with 17β hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 3 (17βHSD3) deficiency and to perform a systematic review to determine the factors influencing gender role in 46,XY disorder of sex development (DSD) due to 17βHSD3 deficiency.
Patients And Design: We present the phenotypic and genotypic data of 10 patients (9 probands and 1 affected family member) with 17βHSD3 deficiency from our 46,XY DSD cohort (N = 150; Western India) and a systematic review of 152 probands with genetically proven, index 17βHSD3 deficiency patients from the world literature to identify the determinants of gender role.
Results: 17βHSD3 deficiency was the third most common (6%) cause of non-dysgenetic 46,XY DSD in our cohort.
Purpose: Spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) are the source for the mature male gamete. SSC technology in humans is mainly focusing on preserving fertility in cancer patients. Whereas in livestock, it is used for mining the factors associated with male fertility.

The complex physicochemical factors play an integral role in preparing sperm for the fertilization process.
Objectives: To elucidate the influence of the reproductive tract microenvironment especially viscosity, pH, and osmolality in regulating sperm functional and fertilization competence.
A prolific three-breed (Malpura, Patanwadi, and Garole) cross Avishaan sheep has been developed in the semi-arid zone to improve farmer's income. Nutritional scarcity is a major limitation in animal husbandry during the dearth period of semi-arid tropics. Therefore, before the inaugural launch of the breed into the field, a study was designed to evaluate the effect of nutritional stress on physiological parameters and seminal attributes of native-crossbred rams in semi-arid tropics.

Hence, we aimed to compare the clinical, hormonal, and radiological outcomes of a standardized high-dose glucocorticoid therapy group (GTG) in PAH with a matched clinical observation group (COG).
Methods: Thirty-nine retrospective patients with PAH evaluated and treated at a single center in western India from 1999 to 2019 with a median follow-up duration of 48 months were subdivided into the GTG (n = 18) and COG (n = 21) and compared for the outcomes.
Objective: To study the effect of prior testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on the spermatogenic response to combined gonadotropin therapy (CGT) in severe and partial phenotype congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (CHH) patients.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Setting: Tertiary care center.
The objective of this study was to assess the influence of spermatozoa surface antigenic proteins on the functional competence of bovine neat and frozen-thawed semen. The breeding bulls (n = 38) were screened for seminal antigenic levels in neat semen based on the agglutination titrations with anti-sperm antibody (ASA). Bulls having high (n = 8) and low (n = 7) antigenic levels were selected and spermatozoa functional parameters were analyzed in neat and frozen-thawed semen samples.

Salivary gland stones are most common in the ductal system of submandibular glands and are calcified. A rare case of multiple submandibular duct (Wharton's duct) calculi of unusual size and shape in a 42-year-old male patient, who presented with pain and swelling in the region of submandibular gland and hence reported. Sometimes a small stone comes out into the mouth on its own or with gentle probing.
