Efficient photocatalytic degradation of aniline blue under solar irradiation by ternary cobalt ferrite/graphitic carbon nitride/bentonite nanocomposite.

The current research describes the synthesis, characterization and application of CoFeO/g-CN/bentonite as a novel nanocomposite for the efficient degradation of aniline blue under solar irradiation. Powder XRD, TIR, SEM, TEM, VSM and UV-DRS were used to describe the formation and morphology of the composite. The composite has been used as a heterogeneous photocatalyst to degrade aniline blue in the presence of HO.

Removal of cadmium(II) from aqueous solution by hydroxyapatite-encapsulated zinc ferrite (HAP/ZnFeO) nanocomposite: kinetics and isotherm study.

In this study, HAP/ZnFeO nanocomposite has been synthesized in two simple steps. The different characterization techniques confirm the fabrication of HAP/ZnFeO magnetic binary nanocomposite. The composite was successfully applied as nanoadsorbent for the elimination of Cd(II) ions from its aqueous solution.
