[Microelement metabolism in children with peritonitis].

The work presents results of the investigation of the level of microelements (iron, copper, zinc, cobalt, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, manganese, aluminium) in the blood of children with peritonitis. Their considerable decrease was found, especially on the third day after operation. Correction of electrolites in patients with peritonitis is considered to be necessary.

[Osteoangiography in early diagnosis of acute hematogenic osteomyelitis of the long tubular bones in children].

33% cardiotrast of 70% verographin were used for the vessels contrasting. Osteoangiography was carried out in 61 cases suspected for acute hematogenic osteomyelitis (AHO). The age of patients ranged from 2 to 5 years.
