Introduction: The antifibrotic drug nintedanib is used for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). We analysed the effect of nintedanib on antifibrotic treatment outcome in real-world cohorts of Czech EMPIRE registry.

Patients/methods: Data of 611 Czech IPF subjects, 430 (70%) treated with nintedanib (NIN group), 181 (30%) with no-antifibrotic treatment (NAF group) were analysed.

Objectives: Pregnancy is often associated with reduced sleep quality and an increase in sleep disorders, such as restless leg syndrome, obstructive sleep apnea, and insomnia. There are few studies investigating the prevalence of parasomnias in pregnancy, although they may be expected to be a significant problem, as disturbed sleep in this time period in addition to these sleep disorders may trigger parasomnia episodes.

Methods: We conducted a survey using an online questionnaire focusing on a comparison of the prevalence of parasomnias in three time periods: 3 months before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and 3 months after delivery.

Background: Progress in treatment of multiple myeloma extensively increased patient remission rates, so minimal residual disease (MRD) detection becomes essential to assess the effectivity of treatment and depth of complete response. Nowadays, multiparametric flow cytometry (MFC) is the most used method for monitoring of MRD presence in the bone marrow of multiple myeloma patients; however, detection on molecular level can be used as well.
