In the work there are summarized the results of the examination of the 28 patients suffering with the pharynx tumors (angiophybroma of the pharynx, tumor of rhinopharynx with spreading to the cells of ethmoidal labyrinth and maxillary sinus, tumor of the pharynx spreading upon the rhinopharynx and intracranially) aged from 14 till 62. There are described the methods of roentgenologic investigation, computed and magnetic resonance tomography. There are shown the possibilities of different diagnostic methods in pharynx tumors, in estimation of the localization specification, prevalence, structure, degree of invasion into the neoplasms gathering round the cells, as well as the definition of the bony destruction.

A simultaneous macro-microangiographic study was made of the pulmonary artery on specimens taken after lobectomy in 35 patients with bronchiectasia in the lower lobe. The control group was composed of 35 specimens of the healthy lungs taken from unembalmed cadavers of people who died of diseases unrelated to the involvement of the respiratory system as well as from 30 healthy people after radiopneumography.

Apart from routine histological and histochemical examinations, morphofunctional analysis of the intraorgan vascular architectonics was done using a macro-microroentgen contrast examination of the heart and determinations of volumetric density and location of focal lesions of the myocardium by the histostereometric method. An analysis of the pattern and distribution of myocardial lesions as well as of the elements of structural-functional adaptation and dysadaptation of the heart of senile patients under extreme conditions of operational trauma and early postoperation period is presented.

135 reduodenizations were performed for grave forms of the dumping-syndrome. Clinico-roentgenological investigations of patients in later terms after reduodenization have evidenced the development of great morphological and functional compensatory changes of the gastric stump, jejunal graft, duodenum and other portions of the small intestine. The results of reconstructive surgery in different terms of observations are presented.
