[The use of image analysis in nutritional toxicology--determination of goitrogenic effects].

The estimation of the colloid area in PAS-stained thyroid slices were used for the proof of goitrogenic dose-effect-relations in nutritional toxicology.

By means of complementary technique the cytophotometer "Amplival photonetrie" is converted in a continuous interpretation system. Thereby it is possible to move the slides by controlling step motors in alpha- and/or gamma-axis. The number of stepts and the speed of them can be predetermined.
