Effects of inhibitors of enzymes involved in biosynthesis of putrescine and polyamines on growth of mice C3H strain transformed fibroblasts as well as on the intracellular content of putrescine and polyamines were studied. Putrescine and polyamines were estimated as dansyl derivatives using HPLC. DL-alpha-difluoromethyl ornithine (F2MeOrn) and methyl glyoxalbis (quanyl hydrazone) (MGBG) were added to cultivation medium at final concentration 10(-4) M daily within 4 days.

Energy supply and oxygen transport function of erythrocytes are shown to get normal and their morphological composition--to get considerably improved. Besides, osmotic resistance and deformability of erythrocytes insignificantly change while concentration of riboxine in blood and that of substances with average molecular mass remain considerably high.

The middle molecular fraction was separated into four fractions after ultrafiltration through a column of Protein Pak i-60. As low as 40-60 mcg/ml of the peptides were detected in the first and second fractions.
