Unlabelled: In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the contribution of neuroretinal degeneration to the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy (DR).
Purpose: This study assesses the effect of the drug Retinalamin on the functional state of the retina in patients with DR using the Diopsys NOVA Vision Testing System that utilizes electrophysiological (EP) technology.
Material And Methods: The study included patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) with DR of any stage without macular edema.
Introduction: The development of new highly accurate, inexpensive and accessible methods for the detection of lower-extremity peripheral artery disease (LE-PAD) in diabetic patients is required. The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of a new incoherent optical fluctuation flowmetry (IOFF) method in detecting legs with hemodynamically significant stenoses compared to ankle brachial index (ABI) and transcutaneous oximetry (TcPO2) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM).
Materials And Methods: Patients were recruited into 2 groups.
Aim: To study the effect of Prostatex therapy on spermatogenesis in patients with infertility that developed due to chronic abacterial prostatitis.
Materials And Methods: A total of 60 men with infertility in marriage and chronic abacterial prostatitis were included in the study. All patients received therapy with Prostatex rectal suppositories 10 mg 1 time per day.
Aims: Early detection of microangiopathic complications of diabetes mellitus (DM) is necessary to analyze the patient's condition and prevent disease progression. The study was aimed to investigate the relationship between the presence of retinopathy and decreased reactivity of the microcirculatory bed in patients with diabetes.
Methods: The study involved 130 subjects: healthy volunteers (n = 48), DM patients without retinopathy (n = 53) and with retinopathy (n = 29).
(1) Background: To date, there are no studies evaluating the ability of the incoherent optical fluctuation flowmetry (IOFF) method to assess foot tissue perfusion. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between perfusion values measured by IOFF and TcPO2 in patients with diabetes-related lower-extremity complications. (2) Methods: This was an observational, cross-sectional, two-center study.

This study aims to evaluate the relationship between cutaneous microcirculation parameters and biological and chronological age of patients with diabetes mellitus. 11 diabetic patients (median age 57 (51; 64) years) were examined in course of this study; biological age was figured by Aging.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the quantitative composition of muscle and adipose tissue in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients on the basis of dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry for the diagnosis of obesity and sarcopenia.
Methods: Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry was administered to 50 patients with T2DM. Evaluation of the composition of muscle and adipose tissue was performed.

Background: Neurogenic regulation is involved in the development of microcirculation response to local heating. We suggest that microvascular reactivity can be used to estimate the severity of diabetic polyneuropathy (DPN).
Objective: To evaluate the prospects for using the parameters of skin microvascular reactivity to determine the severity of DPN.
Background: The prevalence of T2DM is steadily increasing not only among the elderly, but also at a young age. T2DM is preceded by a long period of significant metabolic changes with the development of insulin resistance and в-cell dysfunction. To reduce the prevalence of complications, treatment is needed which affects several pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the disease.

Isolated myocardial infarction of the right ventricle occurs and is diagnosed extremely rarely. In this article we describe a case of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia, complicated by transmural infarction of the anterolateral wall of the right ventricle, myocardial rupture, and cardiac tamponade.

Materials And Methods: Cardiorespiratory monitoring was executed to 55 patients with acromegaly (18 men and 37 women): 27 patients with de novo disease, 28 patients on treatment of acromegaly (including 18 patietns with uncontrolled and 10 - with controlled acromegaly). All subgroups did not differ on sex, BMI and age.
Background: Laser Doppler flowmetry is widely used in scientific studies of blood microcirculation but constrained in clinical use due to the low diagnostic significance.
Objective: This research is aimed at creation of approaches to prognostic value increase in detection of microcirculation disorders in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Methods: The study included 10 volunteers and 10 patients with t2DM.
Alcohol use that causes damage to health and adverse events is a significant public health concern. However, there is a dearth of information about alcohol use among Russian Federation university students. This cross sectional study of 626 students examined their background characteristics, alcohol use, heavy drinking and related problem behavior.

The incidence of chronic endometritis remains rather high despite considerable progress in reproductive medicine including the advent of the new methods for assisted reproduction; the pregnancy rate after the treatment of this condition is still unacceptably low. It implies the necessity of the careful preparation of endometrium for the implantation of the embryo especially in women with a history of unsuccessful outcomes of the IVF treatment. It calls for the development of the efficient therapeutic modalities for the management of chronic endometritis and restoration of the normal reproductive function; their introduction into the therapeutic algorithm remains equally relevant.

The authors discuss modern approaches to the treatment of atrial fibrillation with reference to diabetic patients. The studies carried out thus far showed the importance of differential anti-arrhythmic therapy taking account of the clinical form of ciliary arrhythmia. The possibility of surgical and preventive treatment (up-stream therapy) is demonstrated.

At the same time, the isolated segments of systemic popliteal artery demonstrated a diminished response to serotonin and increased relaxation induced by acetylcholine (10(-5) M) or estradiol (10(-5) M) in comparison with preconstricted control vessels.

The purpose of the study was to comprehensively analyze glycemic control in type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients who were first given glucose-reducing therapy. Glidiab MB and Diabeton MB caused a comparable reduction in glycemic control parameters: the level of HbA1c, fasting glycemia, and mean glycemic levels as shown by the results of its continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) study. The lower glycemic level was not accompanied by weight gain and it improved lipid spectrum parameters.
