As many as 51 patients afflicted with glomerulonephritis were examined. Of these, 26 received multimodality treatment including hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) sessions. The efficacy of the multimodality treatment was assessed from the totality of the clinico-biochemical parameters, measurements of the activity of lipid peroxidation, appraisal of the condition of the antioxidant body systems, the activity of A2 phospholipase and the lipid phase of erythrocytic membranes.
