Background/aim: Hepatic recurrences after resection of metastatic lesions in advanced colorectal cancer (CRC) have an enormous impact on patient prognosis. Response evaluation criteria in solid tumor (RECIST) or morphologic response on computed tomography (CT) have been reported as surrogate prognostication markers.
