We treated a patient with a postoperative local recurrence of gallbladder cancer who showed a long-term response to low-dose 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and cisplatin (CDDP) therapy. A 60-year-old woman was diagnosed with advanced gallbladder cancer, for which she underwent an extended cholecystectomy, bile duct resection and a partial resection of the duodenum in March 2000.
