[Application of biological adhesives for corneal perforation treatment].

Objective: To investigate of the effectiveness of biological adhesives in corneal perforation treatment.

Method: Three types of surgical treatment of corneal perforation were performed on albino rabbits. Procedure 1 involved perforation closure using cyanoacrylate adhesive (DERMABOND), Procedure 2 involved a gelatinous glue adhesive, gelatin resorcin and formaldehyde (GRF), and Procedure 3 involved routine perforation repair using 10-0 nylon sutures.
