Diphallia, or penile duplication, is a rare congenital urological malformation. It may be associated with other congenital malformations. The objective of present paper is to report the case of a two-year boy with ventral duplication of the penis associated with proximal hypospadias.

Background: Van der Woude syndrome (VWS), characterised mainly by lower lip pits and orofacial cleft (OFC), is the most common syndrome associated with an OFC. It is inherited as an autosomal dominant, high penetrance disorder with variable phenotypic expression and caused by the genetic mutation of the interferon regulatory factor 6 gene (IRF6). This study showcases the syndrome's variable phenotypic expressivity in six cases seen at Chu d' Treichvile, Abidjan, and Cote d'Ivoire.

Priapism is extremely rare in newborns and generally idiopathic. The objective of present paper is to report the case of a newborn with priapism on the 2nd day of life. Clinical and paraclinical assessment did not reveal an etiology.
