Objective: To evaluate the immediate results of ankle replacement with original prosthesis in a patient with severe post-traumatic deformation of the distal tibia.

Material And Methods: When developing the original design of ankle prosthesis, we considered foreign analogues of classical and revision models of ankle prostheses taking into account their shortcomings. In this case, an integrated approach was used.

The musculoskeletal system, consisting of bones and cartilage of various types, muscles, ligaments, and tendons, is the basis of the human body. However, many pathological conditions caused by aging, lifestyle, disease, or trauma can damage its elements and lead to severe disfunction and significant worsening in the quality of life. Due to its structure and function, articular (hyaline) cartilage is the most susceptible to damage.

Objective: Analysis of biomechanics of the first metatarsophalangeal joint after arthroplasty, interaction between bones and two implants of the first metatarsophalangeal joint using skeletal model of the foot.

Material And Methods: We developed anatomically adapted all-ceramic non-coupled endoprosthesis of proximal interphalangeal joint between 2016 and 2021. To create a model of the foot, we used diagnostic computed tomography whose images were applied in 3D sculpting system and computer-aided design system for final geometric modeling of the joint.

Objective: To improve treatment outcomes in patients with long-standing Achilles tendon ruptures with severe diastasis and dysfunction of the calf muscle via the use of a new method of surgical treatment.

Material And Methods: The authors proposed a new method of Achilles tendon repair for diastasis from 5 to 10 cm. This technique consists in elimination of diastasis with a tendon of the long peroneal muscle on the distal base.

Objective: To improve postoperative outcomes in patients with distal Achilles tendon rupture by using of a new method of surgical treatment.

Material And Methods: The authors proposed a new method to restore the Achilles tendon for its distal rupture (within 2 cm from attachment to the calcaneus). This approach implies forming a canal in the calcaneus and minimally invasive harvesting of the plantar tendon.

Aim: To develop the technology of manufacturing of reconstructive allogenic bone graft with individual parameters by using of digital prototyping and modeling.

Material And Methods: Allogeneic cadaveric bone blocks were used as material. The following methods were used to develop a manufacturing technology for personalized allogenic reconstructive bone implant: harvesting and special preparation of cadaveric material, primary disinfection, viral inactivation, ultrasound management, lyophilization of bone material, CT-examination of patients with various bone defects, digital prototyping and modeling, milling on a machine with numerical program control, X-ray sterilization.

The aim of the study was an experimental estimation of precision of maxilla bone digital solid 3D-model construction algorithm. The experiment was carried out on 12 mutton mandibles used 3D-model construction based on CT data. Estimated error was calculated for each of the stages of proposed processing algorithm including 3 software: ScanIP (triangle mesh calculation, primary solid 3D-model), ArtecStudio 9 (secondary procession for artefacts elimination), ZBrush 4R6 (triangle mesh simplification, final 3D-model).

Aim: To improve the outcomes in patients with chronic ruptures of the Achilles tendon followed by advanced diastase and reduced function of the gastrocnemius muscle by using of new surgical method.

Material And Methods: The authors proposed a new method of Achilles tendon repair for diastase over 10 cm. It imposes transposition of the tendons of short fibular muscle and posterior tibial muscle.

From a position of in vivo regenerative medicine, the efficacy of plasty of osteochondral defects of the articular surface was evaluated in rabbits. The combined cell-tissue grafts were used with the demineralized spongy bone as a biomatrix and autologous or allogeneic cells from the rib cartilage tissue. Morphofunctional characteristics of the cell cultures obtained were studied using morphological, histochemical, immunohistochemical and flow cytometric methods.

Substantiate the need for long-term program of sanitation the diet of the population of the Samara Region. A systemic analysis of actual nutrition of different population groups in the region showed an excessive consumption of fats and added sugar--the main risk factors of obesity, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. The risks of inadequate consumption of vitamins B, calcium, iron, caused by the irrational combination of the foodstuff use, are revealed.

Hip bone mineral density (BMD) and serum markers of bone turnover during drug (antiresorptic medicaments) and non-drug (acceleration training) therapy in elderly women suffering from postmenopausal osteoporosis has been investigated. The hip BMD measured in elderly women after a 24-week antiresorptic therapy (alendronate) and increased by 2.01%.

The article sums up results of treatment of 152 patients with obliterating atherosclerosis of the lower extremity arteries which were exposed to 2-3 G gravitation overloading made in a centrifuge of a short radius in direction head--pelvis. The gravitation overloading in the regimen followed were not found to have negative effects of central hemodynamics. Peripheral circulation was noted to considerably improve which is confirmed: 1) by clinical data showing 2-5 times longer distance of painless walking; 2) by the data of ultrasound dopplerography manifested as larger volume rate of blood flow and regional perfusion index; 3) by thermographic explorations evidencing the recovery of the thermoprophile of the legs and feet.

The authors have proposed an addition to the clinical classification of posttraumatic instability of the knee joint, based upon the complex clinico-physiologic evaluation of functional state of a joint as a single system. According to the degree of expression of morpho-functional changes there have been singled out compensated, subcompensated and decompensated forms of posttraumatic instability. Singling out of the given forms orients the physician in selection of tactics of carrying out of pre- and postoperative periods, helps a surgeon to solve the problem of optimal plan of operative treatment.

Geographic vicinity, common economy and connections between Kama and Vyatka river basins require systemic opisthorchiasis studies in these Ural areas. Literary data show that the situation with opisthorchiasis on the Kama River is mainly studied in Komi-Permiak Autonomous Okrug and is unclear in the upper Kama, in Kirovsk Province. Additional data have been obtained and opisthorchiasis was for the first time found in the population, cats and mollusks in the upper Kama, in Kirovsk Province.
