The purpose of this paper was to increase the effectiveness of radiation therapy (RT) of local recurrence of rectal cancer (MRRPK) by setting the preferred modes and dynamic medium dose fractionation irradiation MRRPK, assessing immediate outcomes, identifying the frequency and severity of early radiation reactions during radiation therapy. The study included 60 patients with a diagnosis of "local recurrence of rectal cancer." The median age was 67 years.

A series of 159 tests on HER2 ECD in blood serum from breast cancer patients established the following correlations: enhanced levels of the marker occurred more often in patients with multiple metastases to different organs alongside those with bone metastases; patients in loco-regional relapse tended to show elevated levels too. It is suggested that the method be used for prognosis and monitoring.

Statistical analysis of 333 case histories has established main prognostic factors and their combinations determining general and recurrence-free survival of patients with locally spread rectal cancer. The one-factor analysis considered gender, age, prevalence degree, histological type of the tumor, operation volume, the presence of postoperative complications, non-adjuvant and adjuvant radiation therapy, chemotherapy, chemo-radiation therapy. Total survival in men was 51.
