Objective: The aim: Risk assessment of amicarbazone, bicyclopyrone and pydiflumetofen to public health as potential contaminants of groundwater and surface water sources in soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine in comparison with other countries.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Hazard assessment to public health was performed according to 3 methods: determination of integrated danger vector (R), integrated groundwater contamination hazard index (IGCHI), risk of adverse effects of studied pesticides to public health (RAEP).

Results: Results: The assessment of R and IGCHI indicators showed that the highest level of potential danger to public health due to possible contamination of water sources in Ukraine and other countries (EU, USA, Australia) is inherent in bicyclopyrone.

Objective: Introduction: It is proved that some groups of fungicides and herbicides are capable of affecting the thyroid gland, provoking its growth, leading to a compensatory change in the activity of the hormones synthesis. Therefore, the presence of their residual amounts in plant may affect the level of thyroid gland pathology. The aim of the work was to analyze the influence of pesticide application on the Ukrainian child population morbidity with thyroid diseases in the period from 2001 to 2014.

Application of pesticides in modern agriculture is a powerful permanent risk factor for public health and the natural environment. The aim of the study was a comparative hygienic assessment of the danger of contamination of ground and surface water sources with most widely used herbicides of different chemical classes (sulfonylureas, imidazolinones, pirimidinilkarboksilovye compounds semicarbazones). Field hygienic experiments for studying of the residues dynamics of studied herbicides concentration in agrocenosis objects were made by us in different types of soils: chernozem, sod-podzolic, podzolized forest.

Application of pesticides in modern agriculture is a powerful permanent risk factor for public health and the natural environment. The aim of the study was a comparative hygienic assessment of soil pollution hazards by the most widely used herbicides of different chemical classes (sulfonylureas, imidazolinones, pyrimidinyl (thio) benzoates, semicarbazones). Hygienic field experiment for studying of the dynamics of residual amounts of the test substances in the soil under different climatic zones of Ukraine was conducted.

The aim of our work was to develop the method of prediction of the risk of contamination of groundwater with different classes' fungicides in soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine and other European countries, as well as hygienic assessment of their impact on public health. The calculation and comparative evaluation of various indices of pesticides migration into groundwater were conducted. It was established that the most optimal and complete is an LEACN index according to which in soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine the risk of contamination of ground and surface water by all studied fungicides is low, except penconazole and tebuconazole for which there is medium contamination risk.

It was established that most of tested pesticides are moderately and low persistent in soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine, but more stable in Western and Northern Europe countries due to peculiarities of their climate type and soil characteristics. In addition, it was determined that all studied fungicides pertain to non- and low mobile compound (except moderately mobile pyrimethanil). Recommendations on application of studied fungicides in soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine and other European countries were given.

The work conditions on application of modern pesticides Masai, Regalis and Bellis for apple orchards protection have been researched. We show that total risk of hazard influence of tebufenpyrad, prohexadione-calcium, pyraclostrobin and boscalid on agricultural workers under condition of complex entry in body through skin and respiratory tracts is permissible. We proved that application of studied preparations is not dangerous for workers in case of abidance of agrotechnical and hygienic regulations.

The studies made showed that repeated combined action of chemical factors (pesticides of different chemical groups, Cd and Pb salts, nitrates) in the doses studied resulted in an increase of the lipid peroxidation (LPO) in tissues, accumulation of its end products in biosubstrates, and activation of catalase and peroxidase oxidoreductases in blood of test animals. Combined action of chemical factors and gamma radiation was found out to make for increasing in lipid peroxidation and involving of ceruloplasmin in the LPO inhibition. Depletion of the antioxidant system in repeated irradiations against the background of chemical loading was accompanied by accumulation of the LPO products.

The authors analyze distribution of mercury in the contaminated zone depending on the chemical formula of mercury and routes of entry, enumerate the norm rating and indices to be used in ecologo-hygienic evaluation of the hazards degrees of the actual level of mercury in the water, atmospheric air and soil, describe numerous sources of technical solutions of reducing mercury entry to environment from technogenous sources. Modern achievements of science and technology make it possible to exclude entry of mercury and its compounds into the environment.

The morphologic signs of response of the peripheric neural system of the stomach to vagotomy in animals and in patients with the ulcer disease were compared. The innervative apparatus of the stomach was studied in 4 intact dogs (control), 6 animals who underwent selective proximal vagotomy (SPV) and in 13 patients with the ulcer disease reoperated after SPV performance in connection with the development of a recurrent ulcer. Compensatory possibilities of the innervative apparatus of the stomach in human are lower than those in animals.

In experiments with two tissue culture lines it was shown, that cytotoxicity of mercury (1) derivatives (measured by CL50) is lesser two times, than it was for mercury (2) derivates. No significant differences in cytotoxicity were noted by the cell morphology and monolayer mitosis activity coefficient studies. This demonstrates the equal toxicity and dangerous to both derivates.

A technique of the assessment of toxic effect of a combination of chemicals in soil on the organism of mammals has been developed. It is based on the investigation of the damaging effect of components of the combination when they get into the organism through the soil-contiguous media on the level of summary 24-hour doses, as well as when their residues get into the organism with food, water, air and through the skin. A method calculating the threshold dose of each component of the combination in soil according to the toxicological harm index is suggested.

The purpose of the study is to generalize the experience of the improvement of sanitary legislation on prevention of occupational mercurialism. The results of the research specific to differentiated standards of permissible content of mercury and its nonorganic compounds in the workplace air are presented along with the data on substantiation of new effective measures on prevention and reduction of mercury steam release into the workplace air, development of the means of protection of building constructions, equipment and furniture from mercury penetration. Some legal normative methodological documents, regulating safety requirements for those working with mercury and its compounds, are described.
