Biomass pretreatment for the production of second-generation (2G) ethanol and biochemical products is a challenging process. The present study investigated the synergistic efficiency of purified carboxymethyl cellulase (CMCase), β-glucosidase, and xylanase from Aspergillus fumigatus JCM 10253 in the hydrolysis of alkaline-pretreated sugarcane bagasse (SCB). The saccharification of pretreated SCB was optimised using a combination of CMCase and β-glucosidase (C + β; 1:1) and addition of xylanase (C + β + xyl; 1:1:1).

Due to the low iron (III) (Fe) levels in surface waters in the marine environment, microbes produce a variety of siderophores. In the current study, halophilic bacteria SMI_1, sp.

The biochemical properties of cellulolytic enzymes are imperative for cellulosic biomass conversion into fermentable sugars. In the present study, thermostable CMCase and β-glucosidase were purified and characterized from Aspergillus fumigatus JCM 10253.

The effect of the process parameters such as temperature, substrate concentration, pH, and incubation process time and their interdependence was studied using response surface methodology. The optimum cellulase activities were obtained at 50 °C under the conditions with 1-2% of substrate concentration at pH 2-4 for the incubation period of 7-8 days.

The optimum temperatures for laccase production were 60 °C, 50 °C and 50 °C and for MnP production were 50 °C, 70 °C and 60 °C from NITW715076_2, NITW715076_1 and NITW715076 isolates, respectively. The optimal pH for production was found to be 5 for production of both the enzymes from all the isolates.

These healthy bone marrow cells (BMCs) are usually collected from the crest of the Ilium in humans hence these cells are used to replace damaged ones in the treatment of bone marrow related diseases such as leukemia, aplastic anemia, congenital immunodeficiency and autoimmune diseases. Even though there are different methods, perfusion method is one of the simple, safe and less contaminated methods used to harvest BMCs and it can reduce the risk in allogenic BMT.

Bone marrow is the soft, fatty tissue inside our bones. Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is a powerful strategy for the treatment of leukemia, aplastic anemia, congenital immunodeficiency and autoimmune diseases.
