MARBLE DISEASE (CASE REPORT).

We present clinical case of marble disease in 5 yo girl. The management of this child was made in Vinnitsia Regional Children's Hospital (Vinnitsia, Ukraine). CBC, X-ray of bones, bone marrow biopsy, genetical testing, MRI of the brain and CT of the skull were done during this period.

PRINCIPLES OF DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF ASKIN'S TUMOR IN CHILDREN: CASE REPORT.

The aim of the study was to show principles of diagnosis and treatment of Askin's tumor in children. Diagnostic procedures include physical examination, chest X-ray, CT scan and PET CT, morphological, histological and immunohistochemical examinations, cytogenetic study. Primitive neuroectodermal tumors belong to the group of low differentiated, overly aggressive neoplasms, originating from cells of the parasympathetic autonomic nervous system.

CONGENITAL HEMOLYTIC ANEMIA IN CHILDREN, FEATURES OF THE COURSE AND DIAGNOSIS. THE CLINICAL CASE.

We've reported a clinical case of congenital hemolytic anemia which was treated in Vinnitsa Regional Children's Hospital from newborn period until now. We've used complete blood count, biochemichal blood investigation, ultrasound investigation of the abdominal cavity in every hospitalization. Also IFA for TOXO IgG, IgM and G CMV, IgG HSV-6 IgG EBV (EBNA) and IgM EBV, study to hepatitis B and C viruses and HIV were made.

Examining Ownership Equity as a Psychological Factor on Tourism Business Failure Forecasting.

This paper examines ownership equity as a predictor of future business failure within the tourism and hospitality sectors. The main goals of this study were to examine which ratios are the most important for a tourism business failure forecasting model and how significant is the "total percentage of equity ownership by company directors" ratio compared with other ratios associated with the probability of bankruptcy. A stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis (SWARA) was applied, and 12 tourism bankruptcy experts evaluated key ratios.

Trombosis of mesenterial vessels in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (case report).

The article presents data on classification, diagnostic problems, treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children. Remaining unresolved problems of protocol chemotherapy complications of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The presented clinical case of successful treatment of thrombosis of mesenteric vessels in a child with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which included the stages of thrombolytic therapy and surgical treatment for resection of necrotized part of the ileum.

Chronic Upregulation of Cleaved-Caspase-3 Associated with Chronic Myelin Pathology and Microvascular Reorganization in the Thalamus after Traumatic Brain Injury in Rats.

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is associated with long-term disabilities and devastating chronic neurological complications including problems with cognition, motor function, sensory processing, as well as behavioral deficits and mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, personality change and social unsuitability. Clinical data suggest that disruption of the thalamo-cortical system including anatomical and metabolic changes in the thalamus following TBI might be responsible for some chronic neurological deficits following brain trauma. Detailed mechanisms of these pathological processes are not completely understood.

[Alteration of calcium signaling as one of the mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease and diabetic polyneuropathy].

This review is devoted to the action of amyloid-beta peptide on the functional activity of intracellular and plasmalemmal calcium-regulated structures in cultured hyppocampal neurons: mitochondria and voltage-gated calcium channels. A comparative analysis of relative changes of plasmalemmal structures in such neurodegenerative diseases as Alzheimer's illness and diabetic neuropathy has been made.

[Effect of beta-amyloid protein on calcium channels in plasma membranes of cultured hippocampal neurons].

[Effect of chlorpromazine on the Ca2+-transport system of secretory cell membrane in Chironomus plumosus L. larval salivary glands].

Effect of chlorpromasine (specific blocking agent of calmoduline) on Na(+)-Ca(2+)-exchanger functioning, Ca(2+)-pump and potential dependent Ca(2+)-channels in plasmatic membrane of isolated salivary glands in Chironomus plumosus L. larvae was investigated. Addition of chlorpromasine in different concentrations to the incubation medium with physiological Na+ and K+ concentration increased Ca2+ content in the gland tissue and secretion of general protein by gland cells.
