The charge exchange recombination spectroscopy (CXRS) diagnostics on the T-10 tokamak is described. The system is based on a diagnostic neutral beam and includes three high etendue spectrometers designed for the ITER edge CXRS system. A combined two-channel spectrometer is developed for simultaneous measurements of two beam-induced spectral lines using the same lines of sight.

To examine risk factors and to design prognostic models for the total, relapse-free and after-relapse survival, use was made of the Cox model for unifactorial and multidimensional analysis based on the retrospective estimation of the results of the treatment of 235 patients with lymphogranulomatosis, stages II-III. Radiotherapy according to the radical program was carried out in conjunction with polychemotherapy according to the COPP scheme. The number of areas of damage, massiveness of injury to the mediastinum, involvement of the spleen into the process appeared the most informative risk factors for predicting both total and relapse-free survival.

Experiments were conducted on 26 dogs to study the possibility of debridement of gunshot wounds of the liver and spleen with plasma argon flow. The method was found to be highly effective in providing final hemo- and cholestasis. The elaborated ++plasma coagulation method allows organ-preserving operations to be undertaken and may be recommended for use in field surgery.

The binding of labelled naloxone, morphine and (D-Ala2,D-Leu5)enkephalin (DADL) to oocyte membranes of the toad Bufo viridis was investigated. The opiate antagonist naloxone binds to the membranes much more effectively than morphine or DADL. The binding of [3H]naloxone is reversible and saturating.
