By laboratory methods, 2451 people were divided into two groups according to the presence/absence of metabolic syndrome (MetS+ / MetS-): 1946 women (MetS- 1119, MetS+ 827) and 505 men (MetS- 264, MetS+ 241). Patients with laboratory signs of liver pathology are excluded.
