[The implementation of the automated information systems in health management of regional level].

In public health, the problem of professional community staff disbalance is rather critical and the training of medical professional personnel is deficient. The decisive role in the solution of the mentioned problems belongs to the automated information systems and computer-based technologies. In the Nijegorodskaya oblast, the accessible and effective system of training executive personnel reserve is developed and implemented to strategically develop the executive mangers potential and to enhance the effectiveness of functioning of the curative preventive institutions.

[Organization of an educational process and routine for senior lyceum students].

The paper presents the data of a comparative analysis of the specific features of an educational process and the routine for senior pupils of biochemical lyceums and those of secondary educational schools. The organization of an educational process in the senior forms of biochemical lyceums is not optimal and, which is more, health-promoting. Good training for entering a higher educational establishment is a high "physiological price": not getting enough sleep, insufficient being in fresh air, no spare time, and mental and emotional stress.

[Self-evaluation by workers of health status and its relation to the life style].

The article provides an analysis of lifestyle factors among industrial workers in connection with their self-assessment of health status. The diet, physical activity, harmful habits, ethico-psychological atmosphere in the family has been assessed. The survey made it possible to detect certain regularities.

[Changes in acetylcholinesterase and ATPase activity and certain structural features of the erythrocyte membrane in experimental myocardial ischemia].

Acute heart ischemia induced by ligation of the left coronary artery is associated with variation in the activity of acetylcholinesterase, Na, K-ATPase and Ca, Mg-ATPase in rat erythrocytes. The maximum pronounced variations in the enzymatic activity and in the membrane capacity of erythroblasts for binding direct turquoise are recorded on the 7th day of the experimental myocardial infarction.

[Effect of acute cardiac ischemia on the activity of the protein synthesizing system of the internal membranes of myocardial mitochondria].

The effect of acute experimental heart ischemia on protein synthesis and RNA of the internal membranes of myocardial mitochondria was studied; there was a sharp increase in the protein synthesizing system activity of the internal mitochondrial membranes. The most pronounced protein and PNA exchange was noted on the 7th day of the infarction; apparently it was the most critical time in the development of the given pathological process. A study of ultrastructure of mitochondrial membranes in the course of experimental infarction development demonstrated marked changes in their ultrastructure depending on the severity of the disease.

[Effect of disseminated necrotic heart lesions on incorporation of radioactive precursors into the RNA of the inner membranes of rat myocardial mitochondria].

The authors studied the role played by the internal membranes of the myocardial mitochondria of rats as the site of radioactive precursors incorporation into the mitochondrial RNA. As revealed, kinetics of the changes of the specific RNA activity of the internal membranes of the myocardial mitochondrial in vivo and in vitro differed. Necrosis of the myocardium induced both in vivo and in vitro significant changes in the specific activity of the RNA of the mitochondrial membranes.

[Changes in the concentrations and synthesis of DNA and RNA in tissues during accelerated growth and development of rats].

Daily administration of low doses of caffeine to 5-30 day old rats increases their growth, mainly due to the increase in muscle weight and results in acceleration of maturation of vegetative functions. DNA and total RNA levels in skeletal muscles and liver increase together with the increase of incorporation of labeled uridine and lysin into total RNA and proteins. These findings indicate stimulation of protein synthesis in these tissues.

[Synthesis and characteristics of proteins in inner mitochondrial membranes of the myocardium of rats with disseminated necrotic heart diseases].

Two fractions of the inner membranes of the mitochondria were isolated from rat myocardium: complex-the inner membranes-matrix (fraction A); the aggregates of the inner membranes deproved of the matrix (fraction B). Both fractions of the membranes effectuated the incorporation of the radioactive amino acids with the same activity. With the aid of gel electrophoresis the amount of the protein components of A and B fractions was found to bary from 20 to 30.
