Serum MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase is the most specific and sensitive indicator of myocardial infarction. Despite these virtues, its clinical use is handicapped by rapid normalization after the onset of myocardial injury. In cases where the clinical picture was complicated by ventricular tachycardia, severe congestive failure, shock, or resuscitation procedures heart, liver, and muscle enzymes were increased.
