Loeys Dietz Syndrome (LDS) is an autosomal dominant connective tissue disorder resulting from a mutation in the transforming growth factor beta receptor (TGFBR) family of genes. Sternal reentry for repair of aortic pseudoaneurysms poses a unique technical challenge to prevent exsanguination.
