- - The study aimed to evaluate and compare the antifungal effectiveness of various solutions (3% sodium hypochlorite, 2% chlorhexidine gluconate, ozonated water, and alum water) against specific fungal strains.
- - Salivary samples from 35 patients were cultured, and the efficacy of each solution was tested using the agar well diffusion method, measuring the diameter of the inhibition zones created by each solution.
- - Results showed that 3% sodium hypochlorite had the largest inhibitory effect against the fungi, followed by 2% chlorhexidine, while ozonated water had the smallest inhibitory zone.
Objective: In this study on patients with Cushing disease, post-transsphenoidal surgery (TSS), we attempt to predict the probability of remaining in remission, at least for a year and relapse after that, using Bayes' theorem and the equation of conditional probability. The number of parameters, as well as the weightage of each, is incorporated in this equation.
Design And Methods: The study design was a single-centre ambispective study.
