Nonfermenting gram-negative (NFGN) bacteria were isolated from cystic fibrosis (CF) patients and subjected to susceptibility testing and whole-genome sequencing. Among 170 enrolled CF patients, 112 (65.9%) were colonized with at least 1 key NFGN species.

Epitaxial (Ga,Mn)(Bi,As) layers of high structural perfection have been grown using low-temperature molecular-beam epitaxy. Post-growth annealing of the samples improves their structural and magnetic properties and increases the hole concentration in the layers.

In this report, a pediatric case of paranasal sinusitis caused by in a CF patient is described. This is an unusual case, since the paranasal sinuses were the only colonization locus of in this patient for 5 years (2015-2020).

The most prevalent infectious agent in airways of CF patients is Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This study aimed to determine sequence-types, antimicrobial resistance phenotypes and genes defining adaptive antibiotic resistance in P.

This work presents the results of a bacteriological examination of 229 samples from 139 patients for 2016 and 387 samples from 218 patients for 2019. The predominant microorganism in 2016 was Acinetobacter baumanii - 75 (26.

The patients with cystic fibrosis along with patients with other genetic diseases, consist risk group of infection with non-tuberculosis mycobacteria. The diagnostic of mycobacterioses in patients with cystic fibrosis has a number of peculiarities both at the stage of processing clinical material and the stage of identification of separated microorganisms.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effectiveness of nitrofuranes applied for the treatment of chronic tonsillitis. A total of 92 subjects divided into three cohorts were involved in this study. Cohort 1 included 43 patients presenting with decompensated chronic tonsillitis and having pathogens in palatine tonsil lacunae.

It was found that as-deposited films are homogeneous for all Ge contents, thermal treatment stimulated a phase separation and a formation of crystalline Ge and ZrO. The "start point" of this process is in the range of 640-700 °C depending on the Ge content.
