Evidence of feline panleukopenia infection in cats in India.

The samples collected from cats showing clinical signs suspected for feline panleukopenia infection were confirmed using various molecular techniques and virus isolation. The suspected samples were confirmed using feline parvovirus specific primers. The partial VP2 gene was submitted to GenBank for the first time in India (Accession number JQ684660.
