The results of a survey of school children with chronic gastroduodenitis when applying at an early period the medical rehabilitation with method low-frequency light-magnetotherapy. During treatment of hospital was evaluated vegetative-trophic status with methods of cardiointervalography and thermovision functional tests. In normalizes clinical parameters was correction in dynamics of the vegetative status in children, it confirms the effectiveness of the therapy.

The study was conducted on a random sample of male Moscow inhabitants and a sample of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) from the same population. Fourteen variants of the APOB minisatellite (the 82% heterozygosity level) and 13 alleles of the APOCII microsatellite (the 85% heterozygosity level) were found.

Clinical effectiveness of the proposed method of treatment of patients in the acute phase of the facial nerve neuritis, non-existence of important contraindications which are usual with the medicamentous and electrophysiotherapeutic methods of treatment of this condition, and absence of supposed complications enable it to be recommended for clinical application.

The method is effective in the acute stage of the disease, has no contraindications and reduces significantly the chemotherapy load.

Characteristics of integrative activity were studied by Kupalov's method of situational conditioned reflexes in 2 groups of dogs with complete section of the callosal body and in group of intact animals. The dogs of the first group were callosotomized before the formation of the conditioned reflex systems, the dogs of the second group--after their stabilization. The level of the reflex systems integration in the first group was considerably lower than in the second one.

Positive and inhibitory conditioned reflexes were elaborated to signals, presented at the same display. Discrimination between spatially joined signals turned out to be a difficult task for intact and, in particular, for callosectomized dogs, who showed disturbances of the higher nervous activity. The analysis of spatially joined signals is possible for animals, previously trained in experiments with spatial separation of signals.

The changes in irradiation coefficient (the ratio between the value of secretion resulting from interhemispheric irradiation of secretion and the main one secreted on the side of excitation evaluated in per cent) were studied in norm and under different functional loads in dogs with exposed symmetrical parts of the tongue following the method of K. S. Abuladse.

In experiments on dogs with symmetrical parts of the tongue brought out by Abuladze method, a study was made of the duration of trace excitation after administration of drugs of a sedative (bromine, amizyl) and stimulating (caffeine, ezerine) effect. It has been found that with changes of symmetrically organized reflexes during the action of the sedative drugs the duration of trace excitation is halved or reduced to a third, and the adequate unilateral reaction is sooner restored. The action of the stimulating drugs, the duration of traces increases and the unilateral conditioned reaction becomes bilateral.

Unilateral conditioned reflexes and two-link reflex systems with regular rhythmic alternation of positive and inhibitory reflexes were elaborated by Abuladze method in four dogs with a preliminarily dissected rostral part of the callosal body. Whereas the rate of formation of simple unilateral positive reflexes did not differ from that of reflex formation in intact animals, the formation of two-link unilateral systems proved to be disturbed. In spite of considerable stabilization of positive and inhibitory reflexes, ultraparadoxical relations were revealed when the same stimuli were applied in the system which testified to the disturbance of the after-effect dynamics.

Relationships of symmetrical systems of reflexes organized by rhythmic and random presentation of unilateral stimuli were traced in dogs on the Abuladze model of unilateral conditioned reflexes. Rhythmic (counter-phasic) oscillations of the excitability level on two sides have appeared in the process of integration of different systems. Their integration at short intervals (4 min) leads to an experimental neurosis.

The effect of the exposure on the excretion of some metabolites--ammonia, acetone, carbon monoxide, phenol and organic substances measured by their oxidability--was studied. Under the influence of low doses of gamma-irradiation the excretion of acetone and organic substances decreased, whereas that of carbon monoxide, phenol and ammonia increased.

By means of stereotype rhythmic presentation of positive and inhibitory stimuli, systems of unilateral reflexes were elaborated in dogs with symmetrical parts of the tongue brought out by Abuladze method. After section of the corpus callosum as well as of the corpus callosum and the hippocampal and fornix commissures, differentiation of stimuli in the left- and right-side reflexes systems is impeded, and the systemic nervous process is also disturbed. The significance of the interhemispheric interaction has been revealed for the formation of unilateral dominant excitation sites necessary for achievment of a distinct unilateral reaction.
